The government isn’t concerned about the citizens whom they simply view as replaceable, all they are concerned about are protecting its power.
If the government was actually FORCING Twitter or Facebook to remove certain speech, that would be a major problem.
But they are merely COMMUNICATING with these platforms in a way several Justices and officials admitted is customary for government officials to communicate to the press.
Again, this could go anywhere from 6-3 to 8-1 in support of the Biden Administration. Justice Alito was the only Justice who gave any indication he was buying the challenger’s arguments.
This is not going to result in censorship.
It will just maintain the LONG status quo.
