Default Can This Question Be Answered?

Do the states of Colorado and Arizona actually touch each other at their common point?

What about Utah and New Mexico, do they touch at their common point?

I can answer. Not sure if it would be a correct answer though.

I would say yes. If you can stand in both states simultaneously, they touch. Even if there were a river between them, because the river would be split down the middle.

That would be the second part of my question.

If you were to say that Colorado touches Arizona,

and Utah touches New Mexico,

I would then have to ask how that would be possible.

No, they don't touch.

There are only lines on a map, there are no separations in the land.

things cannot "to meet without overlapping or penetrating" if there is only 1 thing.
