Now what. What do we do when we get there? Do we live in a reality of our own or do we associate with others like we do here? I have not heard much about what people think Heaven is like.

Heaven is the full embrace of our loving God without the sinful desires our flesh now contains.
Hell is the pain we feel in his presence while we are rejecting him for those same sinful desires we had in the flesh.
I understand all that and thats the only discription I've ever heard. There is nothing that talks about doing anything, no thought, no exploring, no building, no nothing.

I think a lot of our time will be spent worshiping God.

Because it will be different than here. We'll be doing what God wants us to do, what he created us to enjoy doing. Whatever he has you doing, it will be something that fulfills you and gives you purpose.
I don't expect there to be like here. I couldn't describe there because my only concept of what I know is here.

To be honest, I usually read this growing up thinking, "Wow, sitting around bowing down all the time sounds boring."
When I think of worshiping God now I think of enjoying the majesty of a sunrise over a lake being overlooked by a glorious mountain on a cloudless morning. As an adult, I now can see that worshiping God is so much more than simply sitting at his feet. It is about serving him through serving others. It's fellowshipping, it's doing things for others that you enjoy doing, it is the complete opportunity to be everything you were created to be.
We don't do anything in heaven...we will live with Christ in our glorified bodies in New Jerusalem...before that...between death and resurrection we're just chillaxin'.

Pretty much...our body dies, our spirit goes back to God...we're "cradled in His arms" so to speak, until the resurrection.
This, of course, is my opinion...but I haven't seen anything in scripture that would suggest that we're all walking down golden streets and fishing in the sea of life in heaven.

There are those that do go to heaven according to the bible and they serve as kings and priests with Jesus
But I always wonder why people ignore the Earth
