Default Will we demand consistency when it comes to Medicaire?

Sorry for the spelling error in the title.

Whatever power we gain back in 2010 will probably be owed mostly to the vote of senior citizens. The scare tactic that the Democrats used to use back in the 90s-that Republicans want to destroy Medicare-has become a reality under Obama and the Democrats, and has pushed Seniors to our side.

In order to be consistent in our return to the Constitution, we have to necessarily fight to end Medicare, at least for those who are not yet eligible for it. Do you think we can find any Republicans with the political will to make that argument?

This is where a new conservative majority may fall apart, as fighting Medicare growth is a losing proposition electorally.

I'm all for ending Medicare, Medicade, Social Security, Welfare and other programs for which there is no delegated power for the federal to emit money to individuals or corporations (i.e. corporate welfare too).
