Default The Polls are closed in New Jersey thread

We don't have a thread so I thought I'd make 1.

This is from a Twitter Account, no idea the validity of it:

Quote:
“From a Democrat operative
Corzine isn’t pulling nearly enough votes out of Northern Jersey, and turnout is 25% lower than expected in key Democrat districts.

Quote: “It’s bad. [Democrats] freaking out about the low turnout in Newark.”

Fox is reporting they may not be able to call the race tonight. Steele said something like "let's face it. Both sides have teams of attorneys lined up to ask for a recount."

If what you posted is true, maybe Christie will pull it out. Here's hoping.

My Husband has been saying the same thing all day UGH!

Christie has 300 Lawyers ready to go if any shenanigans goes on, and 700 poll watchers in districts that have had problems in the past.

Don't worry I'm sure in the coming weeks all sorts of ballots "forgotten" in car trunks will emerge.

Unfortunately, New Jersey does not have the ability to score precincts in real time, nor online, so have to wait for the officials to give the results to the press.

Entirely possible. A democrat loss in NJ will be a direct slap in the face to the Obama administration. He stumped there repeatedly, and it's typically a blue state. Corzine can't be allowed to lose.
