Very interesting in light of the fact Obama has declared a national emergency for swine flu.
Seems to me that if Obama really wanted his daughters to be vaccinated, as well as set the example for the country he could simply "ask" and it would be done.
Quote:
President Obama's school age daughters have not been vaccinated against the H1N1 flu virus. White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs says the vaccine is not available to them based on their risk.
That's just ridiculous - not available to them based on their risk. I thought young, school age kids were one of the high risk populations. As if he couldn't get the vaccination for his kids.
Wonder if he and michelle have had it? He's the president and should most definitely be protected, wouldn't you think?
Actually, I haven't seen any public figures get this vaccination. Something I've seen before many times.

So what? If they were vaccinated, people would complain on here that they received special treatment or whatever conspiracy could be manufactured. I'm no Obama fan, but really, he's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't. Making an issue out of everything he does or doesn't do damages the credibility of when speaking to all the other issues.

Wait. It states right in the artile the shot is not available to them based upon their risk factor.
So would you rather him circumvent the system and get special treatment for his kids (something the RW would have bitched about even more "Look Obama is using his postition to get special treatment THE OUTRAGE!!!!!!!)? Or would have rather him follow the rules as they apply to all U.S. Citizens?

Obama has declared a national swine flu emergency. Obama is POTUS. Daughters aren't vaccinated, yet they tell us kids are high risk. Kinda tells us something doesn't it.
