I believe that Pelosi posts as Tislaw and that FireWatch is actually Reid (sp)

There would be no more libs here left to pick-on.

I seem to recall that it was considered improper to refer to Jessie Helms in this fashion, and that more than one or two people ate some bans for doing so. Jessie Helms was not a "poster" on this Forum - he was a politician.

Was he an exception to the rule that it's OK to label politicians (including President Obama) as racists?

Since this seems to be an open thread for comments, I'll add my .02 cents. When Odumba becomes a posting member of the Hannity forums, only then is he immune from being called a racist.

I would bet that your recollection is incorrect. I would have to see the "ruling" but I would be safe betting that if that occurred, there was another reason for the bans.

Here ya go, Jimbo. These are but four. There are, literally, dozens more. Just search "Obama" and "racist" in the search feature of this Board.

I don't think my recollection is incorrect at all. I specifically remember it. When I have more time, I'll search it out and show ya.

I guess not.

Personally, I see nothing good coming from posters making the racist charge against anyone in the first place. Since the fact can never be proved or disproved in the vast majority of cases (self avowed racists aside), I don't see where it benefits any discussions on this forum.

For instance, accusing Obama, a bi-racial person, of being a racist doesn't even make sense on the surface (if he is anti-white or anti-black, isn't that really self-loathing as opposed to racist?). Accordingly, such a charge seems to be, almost by elimination, a trolling type statement.

Whatever, I understand your call.
