Okay...for some that may not seem like much of an accomplishment...but for me it is.

I keep this up I should be down to my ideal weight by March.
For many diets, 7 to 10 pounds the 1st week is not unusual. It's water weight. If you lose that much every week, I'll be concerned.

It depends on how you are losing the weight.

According to everything I've read about this diet, and the folks I know that have done it, losing 1-2 lbs a day is the average, the entire length of the plan...One guy I know weighed about 350 when he started, in a little over a year he was down to 180...six months later he hasn't gained any back.

The way it works is you do the diet for 40 days or 34lbs...whichever comes first, then come off of it for 3-4 weeks, then go back on for another 40 days or 34 lbs. Keep doing that until you get where you want or need to be...If I can get down to 200 I'll be happy...I haven't been 200 since I was 18...only 98lbs to go.

#1 Have you read about any dangers/risks to this diet? I'd hate to have you lose the weight, and then be in bad shape because you damaged your body.

#2 Are you exercising? Exercise is very important to losing weight and staying healthy. If you are exercising, know that you will gain some weight back because muscle weighs more than fat.

#3 Don't drink too much non alcoholic beverages. (Or alcoholic, either, lol)

Hi Noelle. Bell's Palsy it is and I am not liking it one little bit. Appreciate all the prayer I can get.

1. Yep...I've read about them...there are some risks...most of them are minor...the couple of things that may be long term or lethal are extremely rare, from everything I've seen anyway.

2. We've been walking for 20-30 minutes a day...the Mrs. goes to the gym a few times a week, but I haven't been.

3. I'm mostly drinking water.
