I am sorry to hear about your parent's dog Kelly. We too had to put one of our dogs to sleep last week. We had kept Tramp for almost 16 years and he had a good life.

Funny how attached we get to our pets! I think Bo knew what was coming and he seemed ready to go. Or at least that is what I keep telling myself to try and overcome this terrible guilt that I feel...

Sandy took a severe turn for the worse this last week...she didn't know who we were, she was stumbling around and mumbling. The symptoms have eased up a little but it is very obvious that this is starting to affect her mentally. We weren't sure she would make it through the night Friday, my little sister and I stayed up all night with her or actually my my little sister did. I had taken care of her all day and by 2 in the morning I was pooped. Not sure how Kimmi managed it but she did...I feel so very blessed to have such wonderful sisters!
My friend who had a stroke is now home and doing much better. I go in on the weekends and help him out...I have no doubt that his recovery has been nothing short of a miracle as he couldn't walk or talk the first time that I seen him. Now he is doing both...his short term memory isn't very good but the Dr think that will come back!
Anyways, guess that I had better get started on some housework and laundry while she naps. Hope that everyone has a great day! Thank you dear friend for keeping Sandy in yours prayers...

Good Evening All...
Can't believe that it is November already, time is going by far to fast! My niece's stepdad was hit and killed on Tuesday. Was just a freak accident and we had a terrible storm roll in that night. http://www.magicvalley.com/news/arti...9282d844a.html
He was so good to my niece and she is just heartbroken over his death. My landlord passed away the same day-him and my landlady went to Salt Lake so he could get treatment for cancer. While there my landlady got sick and they discovered a tumor in her intestine. So she had surgery...the day after her surgery (her husband) my landlord passed away.
I was offered the chance to adopt a 5 month old baby this last week. Seems that his 15 yr old mom and her mom are in trouble. They both have several charges pending, this last week there was a road rage incident and a 19 yr old male was ejected from the car. He was taken off of life support Thursday...how they have managed to not do any harm to this poor baby is truly beyond me. Jadyn (the baby boy) is without a doubt in the hands of his guardian angels every second of everyday! There is no other reason for him surviving this long...his mom has put him more life threatening situations that I can count. I do know that this coming week Health & Welfare will finally look into his well being. In the mean time she wants to give me guardianship of him as she is looking at jail time for the charges that are out against her. I am praying that she will then get the help that she needs as she is still a child. The 15 yr old's parents abandoned her a long time ago and she is currently living with whoever will supply the drugs as well as a place for her to sleep. At this point all we can do is pray!
Kyle should be home sometime this month. Will be so thankful when his boots hit the ground at Camp Lejune!
Sandy is still holding her own...she nows weighs between 80 and 90 pds. Everyday is a struggle but she meets it head on. I pray that when my time comes I will face it with the courage and dignity that she has.
Anyways, guess that I had better get some rest. I hope that everyone is doing well and you have been in my thoughts and prayers.

Jadyn is permanently on my prayer list. Along with his mother and grandmother -- repentance and reform are part of what the LORD specializes in, right along with protecting helpless babies. I thank Him with all my heart that He's put you in that baby's path -- and pray for your own wisdom with all my soul.
Just you make sure you get that ADOPTION fully legalized so his "egg donor" can NEVER take Jadyn back again, you hear? That's the voice of past experience in the grief of caring for neglected and abused children speaking. Your custody of the child MUST be formally legalized by the courts to protect you, but, most of all, to protect him. Later, you can decide about visitation rights, etc., with the biological "mother" -- but right now make sure you get Rock Hard legal custody.
I'll be ever so glad when Kyle is home, too. He's stuck on my Perma-Prayers List, too. Like it or not. We desperately need young, strong, mature and responsible men like your son. Can't afford to lose one of the best.
So is Sandy. From now until the Boat Home arrives -- and beyond.

I sometimes truly hate the destruction and misery of Satan's hell-born purloined world. The misery that son of a bitch has caused since the thing first conned stupid, greedy-gut Adam and Eve sometimes just really gets my heart twisted up something fierce. And, if I, fallen and sinful and ignorant and blind as I am, feel that way, how much must the LORD of Heaven feel? Why He delays His return -- how He can endure such suffering, with His Perfect Understanding and Compassion and Justice and Love fully operational -- wow! His Patience is beyond comprehension! So, I keep telling myself, if HE can endure such things, then the least I can do is try for a bit more of the same Patient Endurance myself. But YUCK! I want this crap world to end once and for all. Can't be satisfied until He finally sits on His Throne in Jerusalem and stops such hellish suffering once and for all time.

Not only can the afford the baby, but she works for an attorney and we will do everything we have to so that the baby's mom will get whatever help she needs. Her stepdad is willing to assume guardianship as her real dad is in prison for molesting her, but we can make sure she gets the emotional and financial support that she has been denied for to long. Thank you Rhet...we are so close to making the baby's new home permanent! As for Shayna her mother finally showed up and decided that if she couldn't get the baby then she wanted Shayna. If you have ever seen a child look utterly defeated than you will know how Shayna looked when her mom said that. Thank goodness the case worker was able to see just how silly and childish this grown woman was acting. Even worse was I could not do anything but sit there!
Anyways. thanks for the prayers and keep them coming as we almost through all this! If everything works out Shayna will be placed with me...

Well it was final yesterday, the baby was officially adopted out and Shayna is with me until further notice!!! I can't even begin to tell you just how glad I am that this worked out for her.
However, Sandy took a turn for the worse and I don't that she will be here much longer. The pain is horrific and not even the morophine helps, but Hospice is going to change what she can take this morning so we are hoping that she can get some relief. If you get a chance could you all please keep her in your prayers? She has fought so hard and has decided that she is ready to go be with our Savior.
