I really see the issues as two fold.

1. He spent so much time on the campaign trail giving flowerly speeches and saying nothing. People bought the hype. Now that he is president he has to actually take a side and so people see who he really is. He is trying to stay in campaign mode as much as possible but as president you have to take sides.
2. He has no experience. Because of this he is falling into the trap of making decisions that sound like good ideas without thinking through the consequences. He is shooting from the hip.

That's less than the race 'bump' he got.

There were many voices clearly stating that he was unqualified, had no executive experience, had never created a job or had to make a payroll. But others swooned over his charisma and how he was 'clean and articulate' and the historic thing.

So, now fellow voters, we've got a rock star Prez who is moving in the wrong direction.
HE is not the one who will create jobs no matter how much he talks about it.
But his power is coming from the liberals in Congress - he can't do anything without them enabling him.
He didn't write the Stimulus Bill, the Omnibus Budget nor is he writing the Health Scare bill.

If we really want to reverse this mess, forget Obama, concentrate on Congress.
Everyone in the House and 1/3 of the Senate are up for election in one year.
They may feel they are obliged to go along with party leadership but I doubt they all want to lose next year.
That's probably the ONLY thing they fear - the end of their cushy gravy train.

So - keep up the pressure.
We did it in '94 we can do it again.
We stopped the Amnesty debacle and we can stop the health care abomination too.

As Winston Churchill said: Never give up, never give up, never ever, ever give up!
Excellent post. Thank you.

I needed to hear that "never give up".
