I was advised to try to be as transparent and open in my ministries as possible many years ago, and that is what I have tried to do and be. Several folks on Hannity have very kindly expressed an interest in my activities, and I have been happy to share what i do with them, so maybe others such as you have not appreciated my sharing those things, so I'm sorry if they seemed inappropriate to you.

Ooops, excuse me. Somehow I had the impression that you were a Catholic. Again, sorry if my presumption was incorrect.

I count it a priviledge to share verses from God's Word with others. Sorry you don't see it that way.

I'm feeling like a broken record again, but I'm so sorry, Koushi, that you can't seem to relate to the incredible joys of marriage. I can't imagine not having this marvelous wife of mine.

I think if you would check out the situation Paul was in (especially Acts 7-9), you would see why he needed to tell the apostles and others of his "conversion" and of his "revelations from Christ" in order to gain their confidence. No waste of time and text IMO for him, the apostles, and his followers.

I won't waste my time and text on that now, but maybe later I will show you what I deemed to be "insulting" comments.
I see no need for you to apologize for the blatant arrogance of others.

"Bible" isn't found in the Scriptures either.
Is the bible about the bible or is the bible about God

See if it is about God and there were3 persons who were God we would find it clearly taught and a word to describe it, but we do not.

There is only one person in the entire bible identified by name as bother Almighty and Most High

Some of us are seriously contemplating staring some new thread topics (mostly related to The Trinity) which might eventually replace this LOOOONG Trinity thread. Here are some thoughts expressed the past few hours:

From Meriweather:
Yes. This was the conversation Jim and I were having last night: That more people might participate in side discussions going on in Trinity--if the discussion was made into its own thread. Otherwise, it becomes cumbersome to go into the Trinity thread and figure out there is a new discussion--and then to locate exactly where it started.

Also new threads on separate Trinity topics might encourage new people to also discuss the various aspects of Trinity in separate, more manageable threads.

What we are essentially proposing is dragging Trinity Thread regulars out of their thread so we can see more of them--and their ideas--in other threads.

He's dispensational...there may be something on the subject of dispensationalism within the Trinity thread...but I wouldn't even know where to begin to learn Jim's thoughts on the subject. Maybe this is just me, and perhaps Jim has done it before, and I'm unaware...But I would like to see a thread on dispensationalism...and who better to do the OP than DispensationalJim? I know a lot about the subject, agree with a lot of it, not all since I'm Pentecostal ...but it would be a great thread, at least I think so.

Another good one would be the current topic in the Trinity thread...the question of Jesus' divinity.

Lot of great thread topics...but, you're the Community Organizer of Creativity, Meri...so I'll leave that up to you.

Good idea! I would like to learn more about what people believe, and why they believe it. As a street minister with the UGM for eight and a half years, I understand the street side of Christianity. I would like to learn more about other aspects of the faith.

Howdy oldtimer,

So how's the weather up there in Seattle?

Whoops...Just googled Union Gospel Mission. Lots more locations than I was aware of. God bless you for your service there.

I know it is easy to explain away, but I this verse speaks to me very much:

Quote:
Luke 5:21 And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?
In fact, the whole story is an awesome testament of faith.

Otherwise this I really don't have anything to suggest.

The thread title is "Should You Believe In The Trinity?"

From the Religion Forum Rules sticky:

Although the topic may be religious in nature, it is still OFF topic of the question posed in the OP.

Bring it back on topic or the thread will be locked permanently and I will declare the Oneness Godhead Model the clear winner of the debate based upon the evidence presented by the resident Oneness adherent.

Thank you, Fire Watch! We have now been duly warned by the eminently qualified Oneness adherent and whatever happens ... so be it..

Thus, I will prepare a couple of new "Is Jesus God?" type topics and post them soon in order to spread the discussion into shorter and more manageable threads as suggested by the Gathering Place folks.
