So are you saying that any country I visit should speak english so I don't have to learn their language? Think about what you are saying here, boiled down, every person in every country should speak every language so as to be PC and not inconvenience someone who is not in their birth country. That's asinine.

I encourage anyone that wants to LEGALLY immigrate here to live the American dream to do so, more power to them. I believe anyone in this country illegally should be deported. That has nothing to do with what language they speak, nothing. To think that people should speak the language of a country they are choosing to live in does not make them bigoted.

illegal immigrants are here having broken the laws of at least 2 nations by doing so.

Turning their illegal entry into a "civil rights" issue is an old trick to get them amnesty and then get them to vote for those who helped them.

round them up and send them home.

the second half of this old trick is to declare that anyone disparaging these poor illegals is commiting "hate speech" in order to shut down debate and free speech.

IMO, we are accepting way too many legal immigrants. As indicated by your listed complaint, the country is not able to absorb these people into a national cultural, resulting in a balkanisation of this country. The number of legal immigrants has always been a matter that is open to free discussion, and is a legitimate political concern.
That said, illegal immigrants are another matter altogether.
But both are legitimate areas of discussion and what free speech is all about.

I liked the old Soviet argument. Free speech carried with it the obligation to speak responsibly. Also, slander, such as slander against the state (i.e. Stalin) could not be allowed. After all, slander isn't even acceptable in England, so why should the Soviet Union allow it?
But 'hate speech' is another good argument. Of course, 'hate speech' is really any speech that I hate.
