Default Diamond & Silk's Facebook page was NEVER removed or censored

    https://newsone.com/3792582/diamond-...ored-facebook/

If you believe what you heard from Fox News, Ted Cruz, and Diamond & Silk, you would come to the conclusion that Facebook removed their page, censored their content, and failed to notify them or issue an apology/retraction. But when you look at reality, their page was NEVER removed. They never removed any content. Facebook notified them multiple times about the algorithm error. All what Facebook ever did was marked their page "unsafe" and then later corrected the mistake.

Diamond and Silk have not been honest here at all. Surprise, surprise. They continue to tell people that liberal Facebook removed their page and never notified them for making a mistake.

Why did they do this? Probably for publicity and playing the victim card.

They came out at a Trump rally saying that they are black women voting for Trump, and they did a lot to promote Trump on social media. They've become the poster women for minorities voting for Trump.

    So. Three questions.

When Facebook said that their actions were irreversible, what actions were they referring to?

When FB declared D& S to be Unsafe to the community, what did they mean?

Why did 1000s of followers say they were no longer getting the D&S newsfeed?

Facebook's actions were irreversible, is what they were saying. And Facebook has since come out and stated that the people who said that had handled the situation improperly.

The CEO told lawmakers that any efforts to limit the duo's reach was an "enforcement error" on the part of the Facebook team but did not detail what Facebook had done or why.

A Facebook spokesperson told NPR that the message telling Diamond and Silk that they were "unsafe" should never have been sent and that any issues that the duo had with their reach on Facebook has to do with policy shifts over the last two years that prioritize posts from friends and family on Facebook news feeds over other pages such as political ones. Facebook also has a policy since 2016 of discouraging clickbait headlines.

They didn't mean it. It was an error.

There's a popular outdoors Youtuber I follow, and he had a recent video marked as "adult" because he said the word "ass" once (in a joking way). Sometimes automated systems/filters filter something that wouldn't ordinarily be filtered.

Why did 1000s of followers say they were no longer getting the D&S newsfeed?
Because their some of their content was inadvertently filtered due to an error when Facebook changed some policies last fall.

This has all been explained across the two other threads now. You refuse you accept it, because you've already decided it's because of something you can't prove but MUST be true (because Fox told you).

Sounds good. The whole idea behind this is for FB to realize how badly they screwed this up with their "errors"

If their errors have been corrected then we can all move on.

But that hasn't stopped a whole bunch of people here, and in internetland, from buying into the ******** that they were banned, or had their page removed, or were politically oppressed, or that Zuckerberg is racist, etc.

You and Fox and Drudge and everyone else who ran with this story helped perpetuate #FakeNews. Congrats on that!

Correct, and that's why I made the thread. The right-wing media continues to allow Diamond and Silk to push fake news, lie, and deceive their viewers on reality.

Facebook is not a liberal or a conservative social network site. There are right, left, libertarian, and socialist pages. Your newsfeed is based on the posts and pages you personally liked.

Trying to make everything into the liberal boogieman is getting on my nerves. As a centralist, I don't like anybody pushing false news or claiming that one side is trying to censor them.

What ever the number it is. It's far too many. Any minority support for the President must be condemned and ridiculed. Am I right?

Absolutely! When you disagree with our black people it's because you disagree with their policies. But when we disagree with your black people it's because of straight up racism, pure and simple.
