Default Trump Criticizes Democrats For Not Fixing DACA

    Donald on Twitter:

“Republicans want to fix DACA far more than the Democrats do. The Dems had all three branches of government back in 2008-2011, and they decided not to do anything about DACA. They only want to use it as a campaign issue. Vote Republican!”

Someone might want to inform him the program wasn’t created until 2012.

There are still people looking for jobs. It's better i will concede. We don't need illegals to fill jobs.

That's a nothing burger. A non starter as you well know. A little extra funding for agents could easily be undone by the next dem president.

    A wall? Not so much.

How could it simply be undone by the next president? Write the bill so that funding and agent levels are locked without another act of congress.

Besides, the wall won't get built for years and years to come because of the massive amounts of law suits that would ensue due to the infringement of property rights of Texans along the border. Agents can get hired and start training immediately.

Not good enough. Your side gets a huge concession and we get peanuts. Very happy you aren't president.

p.s. The wall will be built much quicker than you think.

Ending the lottery program and thousands of more border patrol agents on the southern border is peanuts? You people are unreasonable.

Oh really? Law suits over land seizures would take at least a decade more as there are still almost 90 law suits that remain open since 2008 [1]. I think you underestimate how much we Texans value our land and property rights. Most Texans oppose the wall.

    Unreasonable?

p.s. The feds can get around the lawsuits. Eminent Domain. Just take what they need and give you what they think is fair.
Has happened tens of thousands of times in this country.

Never would have had an interstate if they had allowed people like you to stop it.

Don't believe most texans oppose it either.

And there's the rub. DHS has been abusing their power and using loopholes to get around fair market values. It's straight up property rights infringement. Texans take a keen disliking to infringement on our property rights. I do love how so-called conservatives are all for big government infringing on the rights of the people.

Of course you don't believe it. You live in alternative fact land. The wall only has support of 35% of Texans [1].

They will take the land. Texans aren't special in that regard that they would be different.

p.s. You put too much trust in polls.

It is always good to remind people that conservatives are fine with entitlements that aren't "earned" so long as they are the ones receiving them. They are mad that immigrants haven't gone through a process they themselves haven't gone through.
I understand your criticism of the test that is required for immigration. It was a really good point. However, I don't think that the fact people don't get to choose what community they are born into is a good counter to your point.

OK, to placate the liberals we'll have them create a Kelo Parking Lot every 50 miles.
    Hypocrites!

I made the comment, not "liberals". I'm singular. By all means, show a time I've been particularly supportive of eminent domain. On top of that, we Texans are pretty particular about property rights. The DHS has already completely infringed on land owners' rights and it's why there are still dozens of law suits going on over 10 years later after the Secure Fence Act of 2006. It's one of the reasons that majority of Texans do not want a wall.
