Default Is This Year Mark the End of the Patriots Dynasty?

There is reported tension among Brady, Belichick, and Kraft.

Will Belichick leave after this year?

Will Brady be traded or retired?

Well Brady is 40, which is old for a football player. He's got maybe one or two seasons left at the most.

As for Belichick, I'd be surprised if he went anywhere else. Not sure his age but maybe he will retire when Brady does.

I've got nothing against the Patriots, but am tired of them winning so many SB. I really want the Vikings to win their first one, and if not them any other NFC team will do.

They'll all kiss and make up in the offseason.

The dynasty ends when both Brady and Belichick retire. Father time will eventually catch up to Brady, maybe it already has as he hasn't looked good the last 5-6 weeks which is when you would expect a season's worth of hits to catch up to an old player. Belichick though went 11-5 with freaking Matt Cassel who hadn't started a meaningful game since high school (he was a backup his entire college career).

And the rest of the AFC East is so inept at the coach / ownership / GM level that they likely won't challenge that Pats anytime soon. Mike Tannebaum ran the Jets into the ground with his GM decisions and now he's in charge of the Dolphins personnel. The Bills coach for some reason thought starting a 5th rd rookie this season was better than Tyrod Taylor who is a competent QB, this nearly cost them a playoff spot due to the game it lost them and it took a miracle the last week for them to sneak in. And the Jets after the Browns are the most inept team in the league at developing quarterbacks.

All dynasties come to an end. Eventually both Brady and Belichick will move on, and the Patriots will not be what they once were.

Love them or hate them, it was a hell of a run for a team in an era of free agency.

Well in less than 24 hours we will see if Tennessee has what it takes to end the dynasty.
