Default 364 against proceeding 58 to impeach

First house vote was today on The Don impeachment.

And what a rousing failure it was

Democratic Rep. Al Green, who has repeatedly called for the president's removal, introduced two articles of impeachment against Trump on Wednesday.

But lawmakers immediately voted to effectively kill his resolution, with 364 voting to table it and 58 Democrats voting to move ahead.
But it wasn't over alleged Russian collusion. Wasn't about where he get's his money. Wasn't about the indictments and guilty pleas that have come down the the investigation.

Instead, Green highlighted Trump’s supposed association with “White Nationalism, Neo-Nazism and Hate,” as well as “Inciting Hatred and Hostility,” as offenses worthy of impeachment.

“Friends, whether we like it or not, we now have a bigot in the White House who incites hatred and hostility,” Green wrote in a letter.
Keep the votes coming Dem's keep them coming. let them stack up for the mid terms

And the Congress critter apparently forced the vote over the wishes of the Dem house leadership.

They jumped the gun. Most in congress on both sides will wait for the results of all the investigations and then will impeach that scumbag proper.

I can fully appreciate the patriotic congressmen who insisted on making this statement now, but they just need to be a bit more patient.

The party of Roy Moore and Donald Trump has thoroughly disgraced itself and needs to mend it's sick ways. Removing this virus from office will be a good start in restoring the faith of Americans.

You are putting your hope into an investigation that is now completely compromised thanks to Strzok.

We are now told it will take WEEKS to redact THOUSANDS of text messages.

Those who would appreciate that move the most are already in approval.

Catering to the base has it's advantages, but it's still the base.

Though, obviously, he hasn't moved the embassy yet. And is unlikely to for at least a couple years.

Plenty of time for him to have his mind changed by various Arab leaders kissing his ass.

The next poll that matters isn't until 2018. When Democrat posters finally return (many go away several weeks after losing horribly), and they have to face the fact their side lost again - how should conservatives bring up poll numbers?

Last time I witnessed lefties bragging like this about polls, they denied ever doing it afterwards.

No one ever denied bragging about the polls. Most polls were accurate.

And how did we lose again? Did you not see the election in November 2017?
    Yesterday's conservatives are today's anti-establishment Republicans.

If I were an advisor to the democratic party, I'd be telling those in charge to leave Trump the hell alone. He's the best campaign ad they could ever hope for. Some of them don't appear to be thinking that through.

I'm going to have to disagree in a sense. Hillary ran on Trump's temper, foul mouth, *****-grabbing ways, and it eventually backfired on her. No one ultimately knew what her positions were on topics that were important. While Trump may have had the idiots chanting "Build that wall" and "lock her up", he also promised to bring back jobs, and it resonated with folks who wanted to hear that instead of Trump's Lockerroon talk".

If anyone ever stopped moaning & groaning long enough to look at what Trump has done to be in the WH, they could see that he overcame everything the left had to offer & still beat out 16 Reps for the nomination.

Trump beat hillary fairly & became president. Now that he became president & the left hates him, as well as some on the right, they will do anything to impeach him. However it will not work.

Everytime Trump insulted another candidate, the left, who always listens to the fake liberal media said "that's it he's out". It didn't work then & it won't work now. The liberal media cried when hillary lost & Trump won, people were shown in bars & street corners crying & even screaming. However Trump was still president & he will be for 8 years.

What I'm so thankful for, is that Trump is draining the swamp, even tho the left hates it, even some on the right too.

Trump is an answer to the prayers of millions of Americans who saw our country going socialist & hated it. Now it's supposed to be a big impeachment that takes him out. Sorry liberals, but you made the wrong decisions for years, now it has bitten you in the butt.

Americans on the right voted the way we did for years for a decent candidate & he's our president.
This week under President Trump the DOW reached over 23000 & we're talking about something Trump said. WOW!

Yeah, that's a good point as well. They're going to have to have some kind of message of their own to sell as well.
