Default Domestic Terrorist resolution passed both houses (9-12-2017) (SJ Res 49)

    Past of resolution;

    "(7) urges—
    (A) the President and his administration
    to—
    (i) speak out against hate groups that
    espouse racism, extremism, xenophobia,
    anti-Semitism, and White supremacy; and
(ii) use all resources available to the President
and the President’s Cabinet to address
the growing prevalence of those hate groups
    in the United States;"

Good luck with Getting the president to speak out against his constituents.

wonder if the president will sign off on this joint resolution.

I never heard him say "domestic Terrorism committed by a Nazi"

what I heard was a generic coverall statement "both sides"

Both sides did not commit terrorism. That was the Nazi side.

Because there was no lie about adoptions.

They were here told the meeting was going to be about dirt on Hillary. What the meeting turned out to be about was adoptions.

If someone asked what the meeting was for: "the meeting was for dirt on Hillary" is a truthful response.
If someone asked what the meeting was about: "it was about Russian adoptions..." is also a truthful answer.

So no red flags that Hillary's campaign met with and used fictional dirt on Trump from the Ukrainians?

No fool would sign off on such a resolution. Directing what should be said about what groups is a direct infringement of the first amendment.

Use all resources available to the President" what BS. Is this fake news?
What are you expecting, The President and the cabinet to break out MRAPS and H-bombs?

Whoever put this tripe together should be voted out of office.

Well yes they did. ANTIFA is a domestic terrorist organization that is far more destructive than White Supremacists or Neo-Nazis.

So what terrorist thing did ANTIFA commit during the time in question?

Answer: Nothing. and that what your answer is nothing but a deflection against the real domestic terrorist attack.

It really doesn't surprise me that those on the left would fail to recognize ANTIFA thugs for the domestic terrorists they are.

As despicable as White Supremacists and neo-Nazis are, they don't show up at rallies looking to forcibly silence their opposition through violence, personal property destruction and intimidation.

Well, they are not going to run Hillary, and they picked up seats in both chambers of Congress. They only missed winning the Presidency by around 75,000 votes across three rust belt states, where the voters were guaranteed a return to the manufacturing boom days of yester-year, to the tune of around 25,000,000 ready-to-work manufacturing jobs, for the forgotten man.

Your post insinuates that the primary reason Trump won was because Democrats on the whole overplayed the ties of Trump and White Nationalists. But the reality of the election does not really indicate that to be the case.

That's not the point I was making. My point is that DEMs used identity politics and Trump bashing as a strategy in 2016. That strategy didn't work then and it won't work in 2018 or 2020. IMHO

I agree that they did use identity politics, as they tend to do, and Trump bashing, and the result was gaining ground in both chambers of Congress and narrowly losing the Presidency. I am of the belief that the messenger was the cause exponentially more so than the message though.
