Default White House cut 200 + million in funding to combat teenage pregnancy

who need such thoughtful program that aim to help teenagers avoid pregnancy and deal with pregnancy just turn out the light and pretend its not happening.

The Trump administration has quietly axed $213.6 million in teen pregnancy prevention programs and research at more than 80 institutions around the country, including Childrenís Hospital of Los Angeles and Johns Hopkins University.

The decision by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services will end five-year grants awarded by the Obama administration that were designed to find scientifically valid ways to help teenagers make healthy decisions that avoid unwanted pregnancies.

Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price and other top Trump appointees are outspoken opponents of federal funding for birth control, advocating abstinence rather than contraceptives to control teen pregnancies.

If we allow politicians to succeed by scaring people, we donít actually end up any safer. Fear doesnít make us safer. It makes us weaker - Justin Trudeau Prime Minister of Canada.

I reserve serious debate for when I'm in the mood to be serious and that isn't here in HannityLand. That being said Mr. Serious Debater, can you name anyone here where you've changed their opinion?

Thanks to massive debt, SS, and Medicare etc we have a pyramid scheme and need more babies, as opposed to selling out the culture to immigrants for the taxes, so get busy ladies..

I was a staunch, conservative Paulbot wanting small, limited federal government when I joined in 2008.

Yeah, not so much anymore thanks to many thoughtful posters here challenging my views and making strong arguments for alternative perspectives.

There have been many conservatives who changed their views when their ideas were challenged with facts and stuff.

Sadly, many of them have left the forum. Handsome Tramp comes to mind....I am sure there were others.
