Default McConnell forced to delay healthcare vote because of McCain's healthcare.

With Republican Sen. John McCain ordered to rest for one week following surgery for a blood clot, the vote on the new version of the health care bill won't occur until he returns, two congressional aides told CNN on Saturday night.

Sen. Majority Leader Mitch McConnell tweeted that the Senate will work on other legislative issues and nominations, and "will defer consideration of the Better Care Act" while McCain is recovering.

With 2 Republican hard no's and a handful of undecideds... I'm not sure this will pass... I know Murkowski got a whole bunch of money just for my state so she is probably leaning to a "yes" now.

Not sure about the other holdouts.

That would be the only way to force a serious discussion. The problem is that the people who would have to vote to sit on the hot seat are cowards who are more worried about their careers and cronies than they are about solving problems.

You have never, EVER worked for a wage you didn't agree to. Want more? Develop more to offer in return for a higher wage.

Nope. Any employer will tell you the rate of pay for the job. If you take the job and show up for work you AGREED to that wage.

Absolutely, it's time to replace some of those seats with Republicans who are willing to do what they said they'd do, repeal Obamacare. They had 7 years, I'm tired of this, Obama got support from Republican, now didn't he,

ACA is the law of the land and will remain so. Sorry cons, the R party's incompetence at governing is historic.

Yeah and after all the hard work Trump did to get the bill's approval to 15% and how he took the reigns in the legislature.

    They really let him down.

Yes, my bad, no Republican votes, thank God for that! I took a vacation from politics during the Obama years. I got caught up in what a great deal maker Obama is from the OP, for one. They had a good size majority, it passed the house without any Republicans and they had 34 Democrats vote against it. Makes me feel a little better, still, they should've had a plan to replace it.
