Remember when NK launched thier test missles & it always blew up in mid-flight?
We all thought it funny, right?
What if it worked as intended?
An EMP would be like that, the warhead sent up & exploded high up, not low to the ground.
If they wanted to do such an attack on us, it would likely kill most of us as within as little as a year.
Government estimates give as much as a 90% population death rate if an EMP attack is done in the right location.
It wouldn't have to get the entire grid, it would have to hit it in the right place to cause a cascading effect.
The reason such an attcack would be so deadly is we are so very dependent on modern refridgeration & transportation.
We would simply starve.
Though it seems unlikely they could pull it off, we didn't see Pearl Harbor or 911 coming either.
A fairly small nuke mounted on a rocket NK already has could be launched from a ship near our coast & we would be toast.
Also the sun can do the same damage, it HAS happened before.
We can place protections on the grid that would prevent it for under 1 1/2 billion dollars.
We should get this done, now.
