Truckers protest ultimatum...impeach Obama
If oil is the blood of our economy, truckers are the veins.
Their protest in DC is full speed ahead with the purpose of addressing the corruption of our constitution complete with a list of demands including that Obama be impeached;
The hitch: one of those demands is that Obama be removed from office, a request the organizers find perfectly reasonable. Obama committed treason by allegedly funneling weapons from Benghazi, Libya, to al-Qaida-linked Syrian rebels, said online radio host Peter Santilli, who is heading up a parallel protest in California.
For three days, the organizers plan to have the truckers along with other supporters driving in cars and motorcycles rumble through the city. Independent truckers with their trailers will drive around I-495, the D.C. beltway.
"We would actually like to be like the Egyptians, they all showed up and got something done," Andrews said.
Thank you truckers!

I'll bet my sig for a week that 3,000 truckers don't show up.No matter how much cats fight, there always seems to be plenty of kittens.

I'm going to be on a trout fishing vacation in BC when this happens.
Hopefully the impeachment proceedings won't affect US Customs procedures upon my return.Please tell me this is rock bottom.

We're thankfully geared up to avoid the 11-13 mess. If even only a couple hundred show up its going to create some wide scale damage.
If they get the turn out they're calling for? You think what we have right now is a shutdown? When truckers dont make deliveries...that'll be a shutdown.3/6/2013: The day i began to believe we could do the impossible again. That we could see the invisible. That Fighting The power was not useless.

DC was designed on the Paris model don't forget it also is impeccable for giving snipers incredible sight lines.
The fact of the matter is their lack fo doing anything is going to be the issue. They could just decide to use DC like one massive truck stop.
The one thing that really could make ALL of this go sideways is the potential for President Obama to Nationalize the Trucking Industry. It's not impossible and it could happen at a speed that would make normal remedy's impossible. If i have a fear in this. It would be that.3/6/2013: The day i began to believe we could do the impossible again. That we could see the invisible. That Fighting The power was not useless.

It wasn't all in one spot they had routes through the city and multiple deployment areas. They ran through several routes. So that can be why the numbers might be lower. I'll see if i can dig it up for you tomorrow.
