Nixon resigned after Barry Goldwater told him his chances in the Senate were "grim" and that he could count on no more than 15 Republican votes for acquittal in the Senate if the House impeached.
I'm pretty sure a politicized impeachment of Obama is nothing but bad, bad news for Republicans.FoxNews--Math you do as a Republican to make yourself feel better.

As bad as I felt about Obama getting a second term, I can't imagine how Tyrone Woods' family must have felt to see America voting this man in for another term. I wish that family peace (it if it possible to have any).

I don't think getting him impeached is the problem. Get the American people knowledgeable about what happened and let them get outraged. Trust me, A LOT of people have no idea what happened as much as we do. Even those I've debated and talked politics with have told me they have heard almost nothing about it. Inform the people and then we'll decide where to go from there.

I'm also concerned about the liberal attitude with this, in that you say we'll need 67 republican seats in order to get him impeached. This isn't about party. Obama could have blatantly allowed those people to die, and flat out lied to the American people about it. It's criminal. I can't understand the mentality that democrats won't allow him to be impeached if he was guilty of that. I would hope that even democrats would be able to overlook party and realize how wrong Obama and his people handled that. If not, what kind of people do you have representing you in the senate?

Mealy mouth will be around, but I'm getting curious about who might want a way out of the administration. We know Hillary is going - there's talk of Holder too... any others? I think more than one might be tired of the nature of this presidency and having to deal with all the crap.

Why don't they care? Is it because they now can brag about a "cool" President? What does it take to find out cool isn't enough? It's good to be respected, but to be liked? Anyone can be liked, not everyone can be respected. It's too easy to not care especially when it doesn't hurt yet. When we have people running around throwing molotov cocktails because of welfare cuts, let's talk about having a "cool" President.
Keep an eye on California. We are the canary in the coal mine. Once things start popping here, New York and New Jersey won't be too far behind. The economy in CA is tilted, you can't spend more than you take in for long and the seams are starting to show.

When you've been shown to be wrong on everything political you should always always double down.

Can you explain how this works? I thought our currency was a zero sum game (those of us who have money took it away from someone else, you know.)
