Has anyone figured out how to block the sidebar?
I don't need discussion (there's a thread for that in the Mod forum) and I'm not asking for them to roll back the changes. I just want a way to make it go away...

If you look just below New Forum Posts there's a link that says "Everywhere sidebar 1.5".
From a quick perusal of the information there it looks like where the bar shows up and whether or not it can be disabled is at the discretion of the administrators.Curiously Strong Fact: The strength of Altoids comes from the use of real peppermint oil and the dreams of pregnant mermaids.

Please give instructions...
I hate looking at the WP forum menu and only seeing 9 topics from which to choose.
The compression I would eventually get used to ... but I really hate scrolling and if it can be avoided, I would prefer it.

I think Krill is just teasing us...
I use FireFox because it has great blocking capabilities. I tried blocking virtually every script on the page, and all it did was make the sidebar uglier than it already is (blocked the CSS style sheet).
Tired of trial-and-error.
