Obama Launches Re-election Campaign To Sparse Attendance At Ohio University

Not Non Stop. Someday I want to see an incumbent who does such a good job in his or her four years in office that his or her record speaks for itself and he or she doesn't need to campaign...they can just stand on their record.

That person would not be Obama.

Sparse? He got 14,000 people to attend. Later in the day he spoke in NC or VA (?) to a completely packed 8,000 seat venue.

Sparse is speaking in an 80,000 seat stadium and only having a few hundred people attend...

The point being, he could have filled it last time. Meaning, his support among young people has eroded and he really needs all the people with little real world experience he can get.

Obama launched his reelection campaign in what was supposed to be a very safe venue..... and one in which they anticipated an overflow crowd.

Universities are full of young people and mostly liberal professors..... isn't this supposed to be the group that loved Hope and Change four years ago?

Despite heavy advertising of the event, there were plenty of empty seats as you can see from the photo at the link posted below.

Quite an embarrassment for the Obama campaign.

Well, the OP has to do with Obama having a large rally with 14,000 people--which is like 10 times more people than romney has ever had or probably ever will have. It's weird that republicans are attempting to make fun of their opponent having a crowd of 14,000 people at his rally when their guy cant even scrape up 10% of that amount of people for his events.

That basketball arena only seats 18,000 people. The top level is clearly blocked off and looks to be about half the capacity of the place.

How does that equal 14,000 people?
