    Default Gas Going Back Down.

Looks like gas prices are going back down. Here in NC they are lower than
they were last year. How do you square this with the Republican talking points
about pipelines and oil drilling permits. I guess if it's his fault when prices go up
it must be his leadership that's bringing them back down.

They actually went down last month for a few weeks, but then shot back up. It may happen again.

The price hasn't changed at all where I live. At least it's not going up, but it has not gone down.

Prices are 10-20 cents lower nationwide than they were at this time last year despite an improving economy. So much for all of the fear mongering about $5 gas. It barely reached $4.

For the first time in a while I paid less than $4 this morning. And my car only takes premium.

I live in NYC, it was over $4 about a month ago.

    Nationwide.

Of course prices fluctuate a lot based on where you live.

In Dayton, OH it's been hovering around $3.75 +/- .10 for about the past 6 weeks. I thought it wasn't supposed to go up more until the summer months?

How do you square this with Obama's talking points of evil speculators driving prices up? I guess if its their fault when prices go up, its their fault when prices go down huh?

And are we circling back to the meme that the President Does influence gas prices?

I'll give obama credit for the $.25 drop in recent weeks.

I also credit him with the +100% increase since he took office.

That's my point. Giving the president credit or blaming him is ridiculous. Especially since gas prices have been steadily rising over the past 30 years.

    Cool.

Who gets credit for the economic calamity that dropped prices from $4.11 to $1.68 in a few months?
