I specifically asked for an example of a Democrat running as a Republican on the ballot.

You provided "Tea Party" which isn't even an official party.

If a case can be provided t show where a Democrat ran as a Republican on a ballot it would be wrong.

However that has not been provided, and it wouldn't be a justification for it being done here. Barry Bonds used steroids because others were, that didn't mean he wasn't cheating.

But it is funny to see Republicans think they must run as Democrats in order to compete. I still think that if Walker and his supporters were confident in their chances they would not have resorted to this.

    Good job. Thank you!

And no, I won't dismiss it, it does indeed appear improper. I don't buy his "explanation."

Yeah we get it, Dems running as candidates in parties they dont belong to split Republican vote is OK.

This is the biggest example of partisan hackery Ive seen on these boards in 8 years.

    Congratulations......you should be embarrassed.

I don't want to hear any whining and complaining from the libs about Conservatives running as Dem's after the crap they pulled in 2008 and 2010. 2010 Dem's ran right of Dick Cheney trying to hold onto their seats and those who survived went right back to voting with the libs.

These aren't real Republicans to begin with.

I have said several times now it would be wrong.

And when you finally provided that example I said it was wrong.

Not quite the same as this example.

I figure a (R) or (D) can say anything they wish. There is no requirement that a Democrat must be a liberal, or a Republican must be a conservative.

"Real" meaning? Conservative? Republicans don't have to be conservative, no requirement at all.

So when Arlen Specter just switched parties to help himself WIN I guess that was all ok too.
Florida was one of the states that ran a fake as I recall...
Its ok for dims to run fake candidates and even in the face of a LOT Of howling, as was in Fl... they denied it like a cheating husband..
I dont care how the vote gets split, just so long as Walker stays gov! IMO.
I am finding it funny, its a tactic that has been done since time began.

The Dem's also got mad when conservatives out organized and protested them in 2010. They hate it when we steal their tactics.

Openly switching parties is quite a bit different than this.

And as one who votes cross party tickets I don't see being in one party or the other as helping one win. For me it is all in what they propose, and their record if they have any.
