I'm not sure why the original post says the deceased was "unarmed". Apparently, it there was not a pipe or bat, he did aggress on the driver with his fist. And how is someone, who, the only time he has encountered a person while in his car coming out of Taco Bell, supposed to know that person is of limited mental capacity?
I'm afraid I'm not seeing the need for Jackson, Sharpton, or any of the like. Looks like the driver in this case had a reason to feel threatened.

It says "unarmed" because there has been no confirmation that a weapon of any kind has been found. I don't know about you, but if some "crazy guy" is shaking his fists at me from outside my car, I am going to drive away, not shoot him. How much threat is a guy shaking his fists outside of your car to anybody?

The point is not that there is a need for Jackson or Sharpton to get involved here, as much as there was no need for them to get involved in the Florida case. But if they were going to get involved there (which most certainly is their right) then to be consistent, they should have been involved here.

This is very sad, violence like this is a sad reflection upon the state of our society. Is life this cheap?

That guy is acting like a politician. Remember when Pelosi was ranting about folks dying in the streets for lack of health insurance at the same time she was spending hundreds of thousands...
