Well, the Mike Wilbo, whatever his name is is from Chicago, Kornheiser, I don't know, they are good enough, I'd rather listen to Angelo Siciliano.

Game 2. Martin hit giroux' and while he was laying on the ice he tried to kick Martin with his skate blade. I commented on it at the time, somewhere in this thread, but I am not to shocked that no flyer has mentioned it; after all they are all to busy whining about the penguins dirty play.

Just saw a stat... 11 misconduct penalties in 21 games this year, compared to 6 in all 89 games last year. I wonder how much letting webber get away with what he got away with contributed to that?

There are very few instances where I think a suspension should be mandatory. In fact' I don't think any of the current mandatory suspensions are actually good rules', but if they were to make it so any purposeful knee to knee hit was a suspension and any player intentionally trying to hit another with a skate blade was a suspension, I would be perfectly fine with that. Blades are sharp, it doesn't take much to get seriously cut or end a season.

I don't disagree. Darren Helm can attest to that.
And for the record...I'm not saying Giroux didn't kick at anyone, I just didn't see it. I watched Game 2 Saturday morning after DVRing it because I had a playoff volleyball match the night before, and pulling the upset (#7 over #2, and we hadn't beaten this team in two years) had me on a high.

Yea Wilbon is a Chicago native, Kornheiser is from New York but seems to pull for the D.C. teams now. I might be the only person in America to think so, but I like Kornheiser, even when he was on MNF, so I like to listen to their show.
In other news, Lundqvist is a beast, what a game last night.

Mike and Tony in my opinion, often just take counter positions and that is fine but I don't think they are always "heartfelt" convictions, sometimes they do, sometimes they just take up whatever is in the news. From what I know though, they do okay. Mike always says he knows ice hockey and can defend it, I perceive that as being heartfelt.

The Canucks and the Penguins are on life support. The Sharks aren't.

I don't think so, but I see her getting an easy path into obscurity well paved by the taxpayers, that is equally as ire generating as a promotion would be.
