I just do not know what else to say. Things are not well, I wish they were
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

Mitch's right ankle has gotten broken today from a mis-step off a curb. That is his bad leg so there is really no muscle mass to protect the bones. Thank God it was his bad leg, if not he would be totally immobile. Thank you God for protecting that good leg.

There are blessings that come with each trail my friends

I was shopping just a while ago. A man, whose car was parked next to my truck, said he would wait while I moved. As I began to drive away, he motioned for me to roll down my window. With a smile as wide as all outside, he thrust his hand in my window to shake my hand, and introduced himslef as Huey. He said "God bless you" He shared a little of his life during this brief encounter. Seems he was in a coma in the early 80's, it left him with a horrible limp and a serious speech impediment.

With that same smile, he promised he was going to church tonight to pray for me, and all others that needed praying for. He also kept apologizing for his speech, the happier he became, it was increasingly difficult to understand him. My parting words to Huey was no matter your speech, friend, God will understand you.

AS I drove home, I thought of the trials and tribulations my wife and I are facing (her medical issues). I also thought of jwil, Rhet and LI Bob, as well as many others here in OO. I think I have lost the point of my rambling, except to say today, Huey put all of this into perspective. We were meant to cross paths, even for the briefest of minutes, to change my perspective.

Jeff, we're still praying for you and your family, and everyone here in OO.

Jwil it looks like Mitch and i are in the same boat. My right is my shorter leg and i wonder if that is why i lost balance and snapped a ligament, taking a bone in that foot w it.

Would working out at the Y or other gym help Mitch build some muscle mass in that leg? I want to go to mine just to do upper body weights.

He works out some but n0ot all that much. Hopefully the next round of BOTOX will hit the right muscles and the exercise andf therapy will help. I not all that optomisitc though since it has been 4 years since his injury.

    jeff,

What does the therapist say at this point.
Is this the end or is there some other therapy that can help.

When I had polio special therpist worked with me.
Is soaking in a sauna out of the question.
I am thinking the YMCA not pricy.

    WE LOVE YOU MITCH.
