Nursing this one along while waiting for Drew to correct the SNL list:
13 Cars That You Used To Drive (and a few words about them)
1. 1974 Dodge (Mitsubishi) Colt Station Wagon w/ 4-speed manual (a sweet little car that I finally had to let go of 'cause I couldn't find parts for it)
2. '89 Buick Century- Had the radiator re-sealed five times before the transmission finally gave up. Driver's side door broken (would not close...had to tie it to the steering column). Often I would have to get in through the window because my sister is in a wheelchair and had to get in first. To top it off...driver's side front seat was broken so it looked like I was in a constant gangsta lean position (although it did help my biceps having to hold myself up by the steering wheel).
3. 1983 Nissan Pickup Extendended cab (jump seats) First vehicle I owned when I was in high school, bought it from my dad for $400. It was named the Black Diamond
4. 1979 Orange VW Bus - Was great for group dates and thanks to the rubber floor, when it was over you could just hose it out!
5. 1969 Plymouth GTX - This was way too much car for being my first car. It had a 440 Magnum engine, and it had instant response, something that I wasn't used to since the only car I had any experience in was my grandmother's Valiant. Anyway, the very day I bought it, I wrecked it by hitting a mailbox so hard that I punted it in the air across a whole street, where it hit a car on the truck lid. I wish I had that car today... it would be worth alot of dough.
6. 1983 Chevy Malibu station wagon- We called her Bertha, and she could hold 12 people. Once while hanging at a friend's house, we started to pile in when someone heard meowing...turns out my friend's cat had somehow snuck in (I'm still not sure how...everything was closed, although the window for the tailgate would swing open randomly).
7. 1974 Chevy Nova Hatchback 350 V-8 engine, 4-barrel carbs, auto trans. That Sum'bitch would haul butt and the back seats folded flat so you could sleep (or partake of other horizontal activities) in it.
8. '89 Ford Tempo- Paid $500 for it. And it died within two months. First time I ever drove a stick shift.
9. 1970 Chevy Pickup, short-bed fleetside, white w/ blue interior, 3-speed std. trans., bought it in 1974 for practically nothing from a buddy who was desparate for cash. Almost cherry condition. Two weeks after I bought it, loaned it to my girlfriend on a day when I was gonna be out of town. After getting back into town, went to my girlfriend's dorm, but she and my truck weren't there. While I was standing there at the dorm's front desk, a call came in for me from my girlfriend. "Bill?!," she said. I could tell from the tone of her voice that it had to be bad news, so I asked "Should I be sitting down for this?" "Yeah, I'm afraid so," she replied. Turns out she took the truck to Baton Rouge to visit friends and, on the way back, had gotten into a wreck on the approach to the I-10 Mississippi bridge. Slammed on the brakes to avoid someone who cut in front of her, and, not being used to the way an unloaded pickup truck would respond, lost control, hit the guard rail and flipped it. Thankfully, she was okay, but the truck was totalled. Damn! That was a sweet little truck!

Yuppers. I remember having that very same thought when they first announced it. They solicited suggestions from the public to name the team. I think they gave a pair of season tickets to the winner. I actually submitted a suggestion myself: The Houston Hurricanes. I know it's not particulary original, but I thought it sounded cool, and it did have relevance to the area. The Houston Texans?! Has an awkward and stupid sound to it. Could've at least gone back to "Oilers".

Remember Aggie jokes?
Here's one:
During an LSU/ Texas A&M game, an Aggie and a Tiger fan are in the men's room taking a leak.
After finishing his business, the Tiger fan zips up and proceeds to walk out.
The Aggie does likewise but first stops to wash his hands.
Outside, the Aggie catches up to the Tiger fan and says, "Ya know, where I come from, they taught us to wash our hands after we go to the bathroom."
"Yeah?" replies the Tiger fan. "Well, where I come from, they taught us not to **** on our hands."

Reminds me of this exchange from the Naked Gun:
Lt. Frank Drebin: Hector Savage. From Detroit. Ex-boxer. His real name was Joey Chicago.
Ed Hocken: Oh, yeah. He fought under the name of Kid Minneapolis.
Nordberg: I saw Kid Minneapolis fight once. In Cincinnati.
Lt. Frank Drebin: No you're thinking of Kid New York. He fought out of Philly.
Ed Hocken: He was killed in the ring in Houston. By Tex Colorado. You know, the Arizona Assassin.
Nordberg: Yeah, from Dakota. I don't remember it was North or South.
Lt. Frank Drebin: North. South Dakota was his brother. From West Virginia.
Ed Hocken: You sure know your boxing.

??!! Not familiar with that one... where's that from? what's the significance of 42?
It's the answer to life, meaning and everything. It was discovered by Deep Thought, and it took approximately 7.5 million years to calculate the answer.
Once the answer was discovered, Deep Thought said that it absolutely was the answer, but the question itself was unclear. After much debate, it was determined that the question was "How many roads must a man walk down?"
Great book. Better movie. I hope they do the rest of the books in the Hitchhiker's anthology. Martin Freeman, Sam Rockwell AND Mos Def were great, and Alan Rickman, as usual, was outstanding as Marvin the Paranoid Android.
