What are your Favorite Foods to Fry?...

I am going to Start with Taters...

Mmmmmm...

I Love Fried Taters...

Slices... Like @ Lukes...

Use Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

Also... Squash... The Wife does that Well.

I Watched a Program on an Eatery that has Deep Fried Bacon...

Good ****ing Lord that Sounds GOOD!...

Bacon grease straight out of the frying pan is tasty. The trick is to find that moment where it is not hot enough to burn your tongue but is still nice and warm.

If I had a Deep Fryer and some Good Drugs and Ran out of Food...

I'd Eat my Digits after Tenderizing them, Battering them and Deep Frying them...

If it was that or Death, of course.

Not a "buck snort" a link fried just till it rips open a little. There is an eatery somewhere up north that has been featured on the food channel that cooks them up.

I make 'gravy' by adding a bit of flour, and milk. good stuff.

I used corn meal to 'coat' pork chops,or chicken, or even thin 'burgers, and fry 'em up in a skillet, then I mix the left over egg, milk, and corn meal to make mini 'pancakes'.

The only fried food I have is eggs. Any other "fried" foods are baked if possible. Have to watch my weight.

Those Healthy Choice meals aren't so bad...if you beer batter and deep fry 'em...then smother 'em in gravy. :mrgreen:

I'm such a big chocoholic that I have to have at least a small piece of chocolate on a daily basis. Usually its 63% or higher dark chocolate.

wild turkey breast sliced thin while it's frozen about like a crappie filet and then lightly battered
funnel cakes
onion rings
honest cheese
livers and gizzards
crawfish tails
oysters
cabbage (tear the head to leaves and throw them into a skillet with just a small amount of oil and cover till cabbage is carmalized slightly my o my)
cracklings at hog butchering time

I love deep-frying turkeys, but lately, I've taken to deep-frying roasts, particularly Boston Butts. They are to die for. Deep frying seals in the juices, and if you use a meat thermometer to accurately measure internal temperature, they come out better that I've ever tasted from the oven.

This time of year in Colorado is a good time to catch little yellow perch.
Batter coat and deep fry those, with fried taters and green beans fried in bacon grease and dressed with the crumbled bacon.

I fried some Thin Mint Girl Scout cookies today. Yummy! I think I would eat anything if it was fried, though. Had fried rattlesnake last week.
