It was a Transferrable Warranty for the Duration of the 5 years, regardless of Ownership.

I Purchased it with this Warrantied Rebuilt Motor a week after the 11th for $6400.00...

It was Originally list in the Truck Trader for $9500.00... Part of the reason I got the deal I did is because of the Panic of the 11th...

I Figured, Screw it, if we're Dying, at least I'll have a fun Ride, and what good would Hoarding Cash do in at that point anyway!

The Previous Owner paid $4200.00 for the Motor and Custom Exhaust a couple of years earlier.

My K5 has a 396 in it, and a Picture of the Motor would have done nothing to Prove it.

I can tell a rat from a mouse with a quick glance from 50 feet away. Just look at the valve widths and how wide the intake manifold is. I figured the easiest way for you to demonstrate your claim, since you were going to the trouble of taking pics and making signs and whatnot, would be to take a pic under the hood with a sign with enough of a view of the vehicle to confirm it's a K5, in the same color as the one you posted.

Guess not though, since that won't prove anything.

When I was 18 or so, I had a Honda FT500 Ascot with a "Turbo" badge on it.

BTW, in the picture that you posted of a 396 badge? The wheels are different than yours, chrome dishes instead of the alloys that you showed on your first pics, plus the vehicles a different color, blue instead of the light green of your K5.

I never said K5's couldn't have a 396, but it's a considerable project to do right because of the extra weight of the big block. To do it right, you have to upgrade springs, diffy's, transfer case, cooling, basically the entire running gear. It's not a popular conversion because the extra weight works against off roading ability. Which is why they never came with a BB in the first place.

If you want to increase displacement over the largest factory option with the least amount of hassle, you could put in a 400 small block, not too many of 'em out there but not exactly rare. Or, you could take that 350 engine and put in a crankshaft from a 400 SB, which strokes it out to a 383. Pretty popular setup, acres of torque without the extra weight of a BB.

No one can tell the exact displacement of either a SB or a BB just by looking at it, but your sure as heck can tell whether it's a rat or a mouse just by looking at it.

A big block could be anywhere from a 396 cid to a 454 cid, a small block anywhere from a 283 to a cid to a 350 cid (400 small blocks exist, but pretty rare, some early small blocks are 262's but again, very rare anymore)

If it's a 396, then it's a big block chevy, and a peek under the hood (your vehicle this time, thanks) would quickly confirm that. Fat wide valve covers with 8 bolts, narrow intake manifold because of the "porcupine" heads (angled valves) that are unique to a big block Chev. Small blocks have considerably narrower valve covers with 4 bolt holes and a wider intake manifold.

Since you either can't or won't do that, then I think it's safe to say that my original hunch was right, you were BS'ing, and you got caught.

K5's are on a half ton chassis that really won't handle the extra weight and torque of a BB Chev without quite a bit of upgrades. Basically the entire running gear, cooling, suspension. If you just stomp a BB in a K5 and do nothing else, you'll routinely be breaking running gear, overheating, and the front end will be sagging.

I just am really confused why he'll show underhood pics to everybody except for me, and take pics of other peoples cars, and do everything except the one thing that make reestablish his credibility and make me look stupid.
