the fact of the matter is Rove will get his cumupens sooner or later, it's just a question of opportunity, just like Delay, Coulter and Rush

:boohoo:

You got nothing left Flakey. Time for you to run off and play with your Ann Coulter action figure.

Just a matter of grand jury shopping, right flakey?

After all, we don't need any actual wrong doing. We just need someone willing to indict....witness Tom Delay.

How many here have openly admitted it didn't matter to them that the charges were legitimate. Only that the desired outcome was the removal of Delay from a position of power.

That is all you and your ilk have left.

Karl Rove will be with Bush and in Bushes cabinet until Jan 20, 2009.

Deal with it.

Wasn't this standard developed by Ken Starr?

Rove needs a defense alright; he has more enemies than Saddam

Indeed he does. Saddam is not considered an enemy by the Liberals. Nor is the array of terrorists spread throughout the world.

The enemy Liberals spend all their time attacking are Americans who happen to be Republican. Undermining the secret programs we use and wasting energy trying to regain power at the expense of American's safety.

If you people spent half as much time treating terrorists as you do this adminstration we would have damn near beaten these terrorists by now.

Ms. American Spy
(Sung to the tune of Don McLean's American Pie)

A short, short time ago
I can still remember
How the "Plame Game" used to make me smile
And as I read those D-Kos rants
I got a big bulge in my pants
And thought maybe we'd get "Chimpy" for awhile

But then June 12th made me shiver
Fate became an "Indian Giver"
Bad news on the Internet
Precisely what I had fret!

Oh, I remember how I cried
When I thought of Wilson's "outed" bride
Something deep within me fried
The day that Fitzmas died

So don't cry, Ms. American Spy
We'll get Libby for his fibby
And then Cheney will fry
And that smirking chimp will finally wave us goodbye
Singin', this'll be the day donkeys fly
This'll be the day donkeys fly

Did you see the film Loose Change?
And do you have faith you're not deranged
Though ev'rybody tells you so?
Do you believe in "Downing Street"
The "Memo" that'll get Shrub impeached?
And can you prove Kerry won O-hi-o?

Well, I know that Diebold rigs machines
'Cause the exit polls are all I need
Vote counts are just a ruse
I'd Rather trust CBS News!

I was a lone mid-thirties ne'er do well
In my Mommy's basement on her old-school Dell
But I could have sworn I was in Hell
The day that Fitzmas died

I started singin':
Don't cry, Ms. American Spy
We'll get Libby for his fibby
And then Cheney will fry
And that smirking chimp will finally wave us goodbye
Singin', this'll be the day donkeys fly
This'll be the day donkeys fly

For nearly six years, we'd been overthrown
Reading psychotic rants in Rolling Stone
Believing every conspiracy
Will Pitt had to vent his spleen
With a quote he borrowed from Howard Dean
And a scream that came from you and me

Oh, and while Chimp's polls were looking down
Fitz dropped the ball and lost his crown
The Grand Jury was adjourned
No indictment was returned
And while Markos read a book on Marx
Code Pink protested in the park
Neil Young sang dirges full of snark
The day that Fitzmas died

We were singing:
Don't cry, Ms. American Spy
We'll get Libby for his fibby
And then Cheney will fry
And that smirking chimp will finally wave us goodbye
Singin', this'll be the day donkeys fly
This'll be the day donkeys fly

Bash 'em, smash 'em, gut 'em all and trash 'em
Repukes get off, seems we just can't thrash 'em
All our hopes are fading fast
Nancy's built a House of glass
Those frozen assets could bite our ass
Didn't need that freezer full of cold hard cash

Thought TruthOut's scoop meant Karl Rove's doom
We envisioned his frog-marching gloom
Our cause it would advance
Oh, but we never got the chance
'Cause Leopold's tale was far afield
Those "business hours" refused to yield
Do you recall "Sealed Versus Sealed"?
The day that Fitzmas died

We started singing:
Don't cry, Ms. American Spy
We'll get Libby for his fibby
And then Cheney will fry
And that smirking chimp will finally wave us goodbye
Singin', this'll be the day donkeys fly
This'll be the day donkeys fly

Oh, and there we were all in one place
Moonbats lost in cyberspace
With no chads left to count again
So come on, Fitz be nimble, Fitz be quick
Indict some Rethug and make it stick
'Cause indifference is the fascists' only friend

And as I watched him on the news
My lips were clenched 'round some cheap booze
But no drink the store would sell
Could break Bu****ler's spell
And as the "Plame Game" died out in the light
To cheers from the "Religious Right"
I saw Freepers laughing with delight
The day that Fitzmas died

We were singing:
Don't cry, Ms. American Spy
We'll get Libby for his fibby
And then Cheney will fry
And that smirking chimp will finally wave us goodbye
Singin', this'll be the day donkeys fly
This'll be the day donkeys fly

I met a girl who'd popped some 'ludes
And I asked her to improve my mood
But she told me that she was gay
I went down to the DU board
Where I'd read the good news weeks before
But the threads there said the indictment wouldn't play

And in the streets Mother Sheehan screamed
Franken cried, and Al Gore schemed
No "truth to power" spoken
Air America was broken!
And the blogger I admired most
Armando from the Daily Kos
He hopped a Lear Jet for the coast
The day that Fitzmas died

And they were singing:
Don't cry, Ms. American Spy
We'll get Libby for his fibby
And then Cheney will fry
And that smirking chimp will finally wave us goodbye
Singin', this'll be the day donkeys fly
This'll be the day donkeys fly

They were singing:

My Unwitting Role in the Rove 'Scoop'
By Joe Lauria
Sunday, June 18, 2006; B02

I met Leopold once, three days before his Rove story ran, to discuss his recently published memoir, "News Junkie." It seems to be an honest record of neglect and abuse by his parents, felony conviction, cocaine addiction -- and deception in the practice of journalism.

Leopold says he gets the same rush from breaking a news story that he did from snorting cocaine. To get coke, he lied, cheated and stole. To get his scoops, he has done much the same. As long as it isn't illegal, he told me, he'll do whatever it takes to get a story, especially to nail a corrupt politician or businessman. "A scoop is a scoop," he trumpets in his memoir. "Other journalists all whine about ethics, but that's a load of crap."

Oops, looks like you got that talking point wrong... from PBS (just so you won't knock the source...

Jim Mokhiber provided reporting and research for "Secrets of an Independent Counsel."

In August of 1994, Kenneth Starr replaced Robert Fiske as the independent counsel investigating "Whitewater," a complex knot of financial and real estate dealings in Arkansas involving the Clintons, the Whitewater Development Corporation, and the Madison Guaranty Savings and Loan.

In the five years since his appointment, Starr, who served as Solicitor General during the Bush administration--and was frequently mentioned as a possible nominee to the Supreme Court--presided over a great expansion of the Whitewater investigation into other matters, including: possible misconduct in the firing of White House travel office employees; the unauthorized acquisition of some 700 confidential FBI personnel files by the Clinton White House; and legal issues arising from the President's relationship with a White House intern, Monica S. Lewinsky.

To date, Starr's $47 million investigation has led to twenty-four indictments, more than a dozen convictions, and, most notably, in December of 1998, the impeachment of the President.

He's almost always the first one to post casualty reports for our side as if we didn't already know about it. Not only that, but he uses these deaths as an "in your face" to conservatives. It is very telling about the warped space between his ears...

Neither does being a figurehead, as every Emperor was from the first, Jemmu.

Put the blame where it lies, not on ol Hirohito, like Curly, he was a victim of circumstance.

From what I have read, and I can't give you links, is that Tojo and the other Japanese High Commanders fell on there swords to protect Hirohito. He was Just as bad, if not worse then them. We helped them protect him, not because we thought it was right, but because we thought the Japanese would revolt if we executed him.

Yes...

A Local Err Amerika Hack on 760 AM, "Boulder's Progressive Talk", Jay Marvin, had a guy on who Garunteed that Rove was going to be Indicted...

When he was Cleared, I called and his Producer was almost throwing the Phone he was so Frustrated when I asked if that Guest would be back to Explain the lack of Indicment...

Then I told him I would call back when the Case was Closed and not ONE Person would be Indicted, much less Convicted of "Outing a Covert CIA Agent"...

Cause that simply NEVER Happened.

Democratic plan for Iraq:
1. Cut
2. Run
3. Blame Bush for leaving before the job was finished

Sounds like a spin-off of their other "plan."

1. Vote for the Iraq War Authority Resolution.
2. Bemoan each bit of bad news as though it had been exclusively GWB's idea.
3. Blame Bush for all horrible things in Iraq (while claiming, without basis of course, that he "lied").

You're right, anything to divert attention from the DNC sweep in November is good news for Bushavecs

The DNC hasn't even got a platform, unless you count "elect us and we'll indict Bush, Rove and Cheney". That's all the Democrats have.

The house of cards that the Democrats built through the 80's and 90's has been crumbling. The way the Democrats got power in the first place was by pandering to every special interest group under the Sun and they want their piece of pie.

Democrats have promised great things to Environmentalist Wackos, Militant Feminists, Slavery Reparationists, Abortion Rights Kooks, Gay Rights Goofballs, Welfare Queens, Labor Union Thugs, and everybody else under the Sun excepting maybe the evil "Richest One Percent".

The problem with slicing a pie so thin is that nobody is happy with their piece and since the Democrats are losing it's harder and harder for them to really promise even the tiny slivers of pie they used to pander with.

The demise of the DNC was really predictable, you can't please everybody but the silly Democrats tried to take a stab at it and fell on their own sword.

Just look at how milquetoast and gutless the things the DNC opposes are. They oppose:

George W. Bush
Richard Cheney
Karl Rove
The Richest One Percent
Global Warming (or cooling, depending on the science du jour)
War
Spending Cuts
Tax Cuts
Racism
Sexism Democrats don't oppose anything but the easy stuff. Opposing Saddam Hussein proved to be too difficult for them to stomach because Saddam Hussein has been outspoken against Republican Presidents which means they've got a shot at pandering to him too.

Yep, that's me! I looked on the Ballot and wrote in Karl Rove for President because he wasn't on there. Good thing too, because if I hadn't done that then Karl Rove might not have been re-elected.

By the way, I'm putting together a Karl Rove fan pack.

Karl Rove Ring Tones... get a call on your cell phone and hear "I'm not Indicted!"
Karl Rove Screen Savers... Fitzy mopes while Rovey gloats.
Karl Rove T-Shirts... "My best advisor got investigated and all I got was this lousy T-shirt!"
Karl Rove Bumper Stickers... You can't indict me, I'm A REPUBLICAN!!

It's not over until the HWP challenged lady sings

It's over. The only shot at Bush the Democrats had left were the midterm elections in November of 2006.

Welcome to July of 2006.

You've got four months, four crummy months and there's not even an investigation going on with the White House anymore. There's no way to drum anything up in the four months between now and the November 2006 elections.

HAW HAW HAW!! There's NOTHING left in the Democrat trumped-up-charge arsenal that can be whipped up that quickly.

No Fitzmas. No hope for Democrats to go in for a November elections sweep. No villainy to hold against Republicans. Nothing but defeat and disaster yet again for a disappointed Democrat Party.

Y'all need to change that name.

It's not a Democrat Party.
It's a Democrat WAKE.

The New York Times doesn't honor the requests or commands of the President even when criminal laws prohibit them from publishing information he has told them not to publish.

They clearly wouldn't listen to him regarding news of a criminal indictment.

Karl Rove's Scheherazade Strategy
Joe Six-Pack doesn't understand why the world and his culture are changing and why he doesn't have a say in it." So Rove constantly invents simplistic good-against-evil stories for his candidates to tell. He tries to turn every election into a moral drama, a contest of Republican moral clarity versus Democratic moral confusion.

I don't think that's true, but if it is and to whatever extent it is, then good for Rove. Democrats not only lack moral clarity, they cannot even agree on what their position is, much less what it ought to be, on almost any current topic of national interest.
