Too easy and I've never heard of Freddie Highmore:
Freddie Highmore was in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005) with Helena Bonham Carter
Helena Bonham Carter was in Novocaine (2001) with Kevin Bacon
I hate to be a thread killer, but maybe the reason why there has never been a thread like this before is because of things like the 6 Degrees of Kevin Bacon Generator website at:

Okay...I was mistaken. Here is the rule regarding TV:
Television. Many people don't like to use TV shows and TV movies but according to the creators it is okay but as long as you adhere to the following: If the person was on a TV shows he or she had to have been a regular. No cameos. If the person was in a TV movie he or she had to have had a "real part." By using TV you can connect some really cool people, like everyone's favorite talking car Kit. Why don't you try it?
And also the rule on JFK:
JFK. Everyone in the world is in this movie. You can use it but it is recommended that you stay as far away from it as you can

I appeal the foul based on ski's second post,
based on the fact that Frankie Vallie and Robert Loggia were supporting actors, not cameos, in the Sopranos.

Nobody?
okay, I'll try it then:
Tor Johnson & Bela Lugosi (Plan 9 From Outer Space)
Bela Lugosi & Vincent Price (Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein)
Vincent Price & Alan Alda (Edward Scissorhands)
Alan Alda & Jon Voight (Catch 22)
Jon Voight & Dustin Hoffman (Midnight Cowboy)
Dustin Hoffman & Meryl Streep (Kramer vs. Kramer)
Meryl Streep & Kevin Bacon (River Wild)
I'm sure there's much shorter ways to do it...
Just thought of a slightly shorter route:
Tor Johnson & Bela Lugosi (Plan 9 From Outer Space)
Bela Lugosi & Vincent Price (Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein)
Vincent Price & Alan Alda (Edward Scissorhands)
Alan Alda & Greg Kennier (Little Miss Sunshine)
Greg Kennier & Jack Nicholson (As Good As It Gets)
Jack Nicholson & Kevin Bacon (A Few Good Men)

Ah...
Meant to say Arkin.
Brain fart led to Arkin/Alda switcheroo.
It was also Alan Arkin in Catch 22 and Edward Scissorhands.

You guys are missing the ultimate in Kevin Bacon
http://oracleofbacon.org/
This will calculate the degress on anyone. And I can't believe how close some people are. Was Kevin Bacon in EVERYTHING? :))
John Wayne has a Bacon number of 2
John Wayne was in "How the West was Won" with Eli Wallach, who was in "Mystyic River" with Kevin Bacon.
:))
John Barrymore has a Bacon number of three:
John Barrymore was in "Counselor at Law," with Barbara Perry who was in "Trust Me" with Rance Howard, who was in "Frost/Nixon" with Kevin Bacon.
