Easy for me because I just happened once to hear an interview with Alda describing his vaudeville roots. One in a million shot, and I thank you for it. :)

A world of tears
It's a world of hopes
And a world of fears
There's so much that we share
That it's time we're aware
It's a small world after all
There is just one moon
And one golden sun
And a smile means
Friendship to ev'ryone
Though the mountains divide
And the oceans are wide
It's a small world after all

A friend of my used to live in the same building with Grandpa (Al Lewis) in NYC. Apparently Al always wore a bright red suit and smoked a cigar and was a "character." About seven years ago my friend tried to interest Al in participating in an absurdist cabaret show he was involved with, but Al told him that his rate was $3,000/night. So much for that idea.

Although the guy in the pic you posted looked for all the world like Richard Dreyfuss.

It sorta looked like Dick Cheney by the eyes and the set of the mouth, but I knew it probably wasn't him because the boy's ears stuck out too much to be Cheney's.
So, is this mystery person someone who we could reasonably be expected to know of?
BTW, I did a web search on Korea War air aces and came up with about a dozen names I'd never heard of.
