Okay...so I had a date planned for tonight with a guy that I ran into that I went to high school with. Well after talking to him for about 30 minutes on the phone last night I knew I did not want to go out with him!!!

Oh sorry, forgot to include the story :lol:

Today this lady came in (she had come in before and left saying she was never coming back again. Yeah, one of those.) and I asked her if a table was okay. She's like, "I'd rather have a booth" so I'm like, "Okay! Just give me a couple minutes" because the only booths available were in a section that I had like double sat so I wanted to give the waitress a chance to catch up. There was a guy at the register signing something so I could use his credit card, and we all know the people at the register come first, so I got the menus ready and set them on the counter by the time he was done. The lady said I slammed them on the counter, ignored them, and was just talking smack like that to my manager for a good 20 minutes. I was going to finish cashing this one guy out and take them to their seats, but my manager took them first. So yeah, they whined about that for a long time.

Then later this one guy wanted a military discount. So I go to the manager and was like, "Hey this guy wants a military discount." We give senior discounts so why the heck wouldn't we give a man who is putting his life on the line for his country a freaking discount?? But yeah, we don't give military discounts. I said, "That's kinda retarded."

I think I'll just quit b/c getting paid 6.75 an hour to put up with all that jazz is just nonsense. I called my friend who works there too, and she's going to quit. Another girl is quitting too b/c I told her I was going to quit soon. That leaves one more hostess, and she'll probably quit when she finds out two of her friends quit.

And I swear every freaking time I go there I get a freaking huge migraine and it's just dumb! It ain't worth it!!

Ahmed didn't go b/c he was with his family. Cool, huh? But yeah, he probably wouldn't have had that much fun b/c the engineer guys (they've known each other like forever and are so close b/c of all the hell they've gone through) always joke around about stuff like spooning with each other. Thanks. I used gold and copper paint, but it doesn't show up so well. I saw pendants while surfing the net and most were around $50. I thought they were smoking crack and decided to make my own out of plaster. Total cost about $2.00.
