I guess technically I haven't even gotten up yet (it's 11:37 my time). I'm typing this from my bed, man I love my laptop. I'm thinking about getting up for some food... oatmeal perhaps? and that wonderful strawberry gatoraide.

I'm starting to prefer margaritas on the rocks. I guess the frozen ones are great when it's really hot out, but for the rest of the year, make mine on the rocks, baby! I could really use one today. Steak also sounds yummy, too, but I like mine on the rare side. It's almost 4 - 1 more hour to go - I hope.

I can honestly say I've never had alcohol in my life, not even for a toast at a wedding or anything. I've also never smoked or done any drugs that weren't perscribed to me. I have heard vigin margaritas were good though but I've never tried them.

OK, Girls, I have a question....
Some of you may remember the ads they used to have for Underalls pantyhose. They claimed you should wear Underalls, because the pany was built in, so you didn't see a visible panty line (VPL).
Last week, I was walking down a hallway here at work, and a woman was walking ahead of me. I could help but look at her butt, you know, cause it was there. She's thin, young, a nice woman. But as she was walking, her pants looked funny. It took me a moment to think of what could have been wrong, but then I realized - she's wearing a thong! So, which do you think is worse - VPL or VBC (visible butt crack)?

Definitely a bigger fan of the panty line....
What drives me batty is that all the pants are so low waisted that the top of girls undies are hanging out...in some cases A LOT! Thongs don't make that any better either!

I went to Great Adventure theme park (NJ's 6 Flags), and I saw a girl sitting at a table eating. The top of her butt crack was hanging out (apparently, she was going commando). I had never seen anything like this, outside of repairmen with heavy toolbelts around their waists. A la Dan Aykroyd as the Norge refrigerator repairman in an old SNL sketch. I pointed it out to my sister, and she said, that's the new thing - butt cleavage! I gagged. Maybe a thong would have looked cute sticking up at the top, but not the way this girl wore it.
I'll take the VPL, too.

Standard stuff. Parents divorce. Kids live with mom. Dad leaves the state. In this case his son joined the Navy (yes, my influence). He got stationed near us and finally got the chance to visit. They started playing Madden NFL and for every touch down, shots of tequila were consumed. By 7 p.m., neither one was feeling any pain. But his son passed out first. I didn't find out until this morning that my hubby painted his son's toenails with my pink nail polish while he was passed out. So the junior petty officer is at work today with pretty toe-toes. :))

I like painting and would have traded places with you. :) I'm SO glad to be back at work so I can rest from the weekend. My husband and his son got together for a family reunion. They hadn't seen each other in 11 years. So out came the beer and tequila and rowdiness. The house didn't get destroyed, so I'm happy. I'm having a nice quiet lunch break, eating my sandwich and browsing the forums...

need the girls' advice on this: if you met a guy and he was really nice and he wanted to start dating you, as in exclusive you don't date other people, but you knew he was leaving in a week to be a camp counselor several states away for 12 weeks (most of the summer) would you date him? Because I was pretty much just going to tell him I didn't want to start dating someone and be by self all summer and not be able to see anyone else.

Nope,it would not be fair to either of you. Tell him you will see him in the fall and then you can reevaluate the relationship but for now just be good friends with no strings. The summer is the best time for a some fun with friends and maybe a light romance.

need the girls' advice on this: if you met a guy and he was really nice and he wanted to start dating you, as in exclusive you don't date other people, but you knew he was leaving in a week to be a camp counselor several states away for 12 weeks (most of the summer) would you date him? Because I was pretty much just going to tell him I didn't want to start dating someone and be by self all summer and not be able to see anyone else.
He could be a nice guy and then he could be the possesive type if he's asking you not to see anyone else while he's gone. It sounds like you're doing the right thing by telling him you don't want to start dating and be alone all summer. Enjoy your summer, Kim. Life is short.

Yep. And I don't even like him that well so I've discovered, but he wants to hang out with me again tonight and he says all next week before he leaves. I'm like... I've got other stuff to do and finals are next week. I'm locking myself in my room and studying. Boys are weird.

Sounds good to me, Kim. Doubt there will be any fellas needing interrogation, but just in case I find one... ;)
I went to Magic Mountain today! Had a blast. The new one (Tatsuo?) was flipping awesome. The line was really long and it like broke down for about an hour so we were standing in line, it's hot. Then I see all these wet people climbing down some steps - was a water ride! So we ended up just holding our place in line by leaving a few people, some would go on the water ride, and so forth. Great fun. We got in the very first car and one of the guys managed to sneak a video camera on there, so he recorded the whole ride  Went on Viper 4 times in a row because there wasn't a line and only stopped because I felt a little dizzy. Took a break and went back for more later. Le woot!

Oh and someone stole my purse, took my money, and threw my purse off the Viper. A guy I know climbed down there and got it for me, though. WHEW! I still have my cell phone so that's fabulous. I'll let you in on a trick I used way back in the olden days when I went job hunting. You'll need a really good friend to help you.
Cheating:
1. If you're applying at a store and will probably be using the cash register, make sure you know how to use one in advance. Get a friend who's a cashier to show you or Google it or something. Just make sure you know how to use one.
2. Give a phony job reference.
3. Give your friend's phone number as the job reference number.
4. Michael's calls your friend. She/he says "Yea, CowGirl Up! used to work for me, etc."
Or the right way:
Volunteer somewhere like a Salvation Army Thrift Store or church thrift store where you can get experience using a cash register and interacting with the public as a salesperson/stockperson.

Those are some good ideas. I actually had thought of the cashier one, but I'm not brave enough to do the second. There is a random ice cream place that my friend works at and she said she could hook me up. I told I didn't really want to work at an ice cream place. Her and my mom both yelled at me and told me I was a snob and food service was not beneath me. Basically I've decided I can't get a job anywhere else, or anywhere better any way with no expierence so I'm going to try to get this job for the ice cream place.

I'm doing really good! I got my job at Zale and my mom and brother are coming in from Louisiana today! I haven't seen them in 2 months. My mom is turning 40 on Sunday. My brother and I are going to have fun  black balloons, black roses, signs in the yard... oh yeah.
What are your guys plans for the three day weekend?
Arya
May 26th, 2006, 1:22 pm
Morty and I have one of his boys this weekend. We're probably going to Six Flags, cookouts, the movies to see X-men III (Hugh, yummmmy) and cause general mischief.
Your weekend sounds like fun tho! Enjoy!!

Just a newbie, ladies. Registered a few days ago. Been listening to Sean ever since he started on W.N.I.S., here in Hampton Roads, VA.
I discovered this thread while I was checking the forum out, before I registered. I enjoyed it and have been coming back since.
