No, it's not scary. It's a hair removal method I saw on TV. It looked like the beautician was taking a thin thread and rubbing it across the woman's forehead just on top of her eyebrow to get rid of hair. It's supposed to be virtually painless. I've never heard of it until I saw in on TV.

Is that like a reconstructor? I use TIGI's dumb blonde (only because my highlights are blonde) once a month. I'm not familiar with the Keratin Mist. Is CHI the actual name or are you abbreviating it? I'm always looking for ways to improve my hair as it's curly and the older I get, the more I have to dye it so it's getting dry.

CHI is the brand, and no, it's not short for anything...and it is all caps. (not sure why.) I use it absolutely every single time I get out of the shower. Spray a bit on and comb it thru before I do anything else...
not sure if it is a reconstructor or not...but it does put protein back into your hair. Ask your hairdresser.

I tried the light brown dyes. They all made my hair way too dark. If I were 20 years younger, it'd be ok. But nothing looks worse than an a middle aged woman with hair that's too dark and looks dyed. Can't do red. Hubby said he'd freak out. He hates red hair.

You need to try a different color combination then. Do you have a good stylist? It's good to do it professionally when your hair changes and then match the color to what the pro picked (if it's good that is)

Don't have a stylist. Never got into it. Mostly because of my job in the military. It's next to impossible to have nice hair. It'd be a waste of money to get my hair done and then have it ruined at work the next day.

Almost. Just have to get the extra stuff out of the 2nd bedroom office and stick in on the back porch. And then get to work on filing the missing/damaged goods paperwork. The military contract moving companies always break and lose items. It's the price we pay for free services.

I hate it. I loathe it. I despise it. I can't stand city living. Can't stand the noise. Can't stand the dirt. Can't stand not having a huge yard to let my dog play and chase rabbits. I miss the country. Miss the deer. Miss the raccoons. Miss the quiet peacefulness. Other than that, I'm fine.

Ok, I do love having cable modem. And pizza delivery service. And being able to have a 2 minute drive to just about any store I want to go to.

Of course! All dogs need lots of space to run. Even Chihuahuas. If our yard was fenced, it wouldn't be a problem. But it isn't. So Scamp can't play outside anymore. We now go on long walks on the hiking trail at the park up the road. But it's just not the same as free running & chasing rabbits. :(

We were renting a 2-story house on a 22 acre farm. Scamp got used to the free roam life. I'd let him out in the morning so he could relieve himself and never had to worry about him. Well, except when the skunks came around. He chased one of those black & white "kitties" once and got sprayed in the face. I never laughed so hard in my life. The look on Scamp's face was priceless. He got a bath with baking soda and peroxide to clean the stink off of him (it works great). And moped around the rest of the day. I think his pride was hurt. :))

The closest park to me is 30 minutes away. :( Maybe for a lazy Sunday, we might try it. My daughter also suggested finding a tennis court or basketball court that's fenced in. No one will be on it early in the morning and Scamp can chase his tennis ball.

The best place I found for taking dogs is on the Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Florida. It's open to the public. Trout Point trail and the beach.
