You can speak the truth. That isn't a problem at all.

They are really funny here though. They expect something, anything, you know valid type stuff to back up ones' version of the truth.

Give valid proof to back up your statements, engage people in respectful debate and you will find that there are some exceptionally knowledgeable people here that are willing to pick those facts apart by offering other facts that they too will back up with valid proof. That's how it works.

Valid proof goes beyond .... because I said so.

You really need to read...scratch that...study the ToS very well. It also would not hurt to study the major stickies regarding forum behavior.

Please email or pm goodlife with your complaint concerning my threads being deleted and demand that they be reinstated immediately.

I judgd by the thread titles and decided they were stupid and inflammatory and that the second one was probably racist.

Cakes, then pies....


Here's a good one to start:

Pineapple Upside-Down Cake
1 pkg. Butter recipe cake mix
Follow direction on package, except replace ½ liquid with orange juice. No more than that or the cake will fall.
1 stick margarine
1 20 oz. Can pineapple slices
1 ½ cups brown sugar
2 pecans halves
fresh cranberries
Mix cake mix as per directions except for the change listed above. I always add 1 ½ teaspoons of vanilla, and 1 teaspoon of lemon extract to cake mix.
In a 13 x 9 inch pan, melt margarine in oven…….preheating for cake to bake. Set to temperature dictated by cake mix instructions.
After margarine is melted, sprinkle brown sugar evenly. Arrange pineapple slices, cranberries and pecans. Pour cake mixture over this. Cook as per instructions on box, when cake is done, toothpick will come out clean. Invert cake pan on a cookie sheet, leave pan for a few minutes to give everything time to settle into place.

I hope you will listen to reason, these people are trying to help you. You're obviously a very passionate speaker who does not realize when she's gone overboard.

The mods have very sound judgement, they work extemely hard for free, and they would never delete someone's opinion because it differed from their own. Whatever you said, it must have been out of line in some other way.

What's funny is- I would have actually supported daisy if i had seen the threads in question to make sure there were no ToS violations in them because I don't like lots of deletions of posts or threads.

And there HAVE been cases where it appeared, at least to me, that the mods have deleted threads, not for ToS violations, but because they had made value judgements as to the threads'/posts' worth. And I don't like that...I do not believe a mod should be judging the "value" of threads/posts.

However, I had to comment on this continuing misunderstanding of "free speech rights".

I do not get why it's so hard to understand that a private individual has no obligation to protect your free speech rights when you have VOLUNTARILY entered into an agreement with him to obey his rules. when you're using a resource HE provides to you.

I was active in this forum several years ago and only recently returned. I can tell you that my impression is the moderators are far more aggresive than they used to be... and, IMO, take it a little too far at times... and, in the process, encourage a lot more whining to the moderator than is necessary.

Not sure why this happened. Perhaps Sean's request, lawyers... or just a newer group of moderators with a different perspective.

It's unfortunate the change occurred, but still one of the better forums on the net... and certainly beats Limbaugh's forum. :))
