Going well......can't complain whatsoever. Well, I'm sure I could if I wanted to...but I'm actually quite happy. Job is great, got most things unpacked. Still have more to go but I'll get there soon enough.

Oh....I'm gravitating towards having it removed but the doctor wants me to document for a while and keep my eye on it. I'm quite paranoid about the whole thing but the doc says I shouldn't project trouble when there is none.

Sorry about your tv running static....that's a bummer Tell your mom to use it for target practice....lol

Nah, left on their own, these type of moles wither and die..like the self defeating cancers they are. But a quick surgical strike can be entertaining for the surgeon. Paging Dr. Rick?

Good morning Sugah, hope you have your coffee and don't have to borrow any sweets to spice your cup. I wasn't being mean calling you blonde before, I like that blondes have more fun. Means they pay more fines and lower my taxes and that's always good.

Oops. Did I say that? I'm being a brat. Sorry. Hugs and kisses baby. Who loves ya?

Actually I don't have any coffee yet...looks like I'm going to have to go and make a pot myself.

If I were there, that would not be a problem. I do like my lady friends awake and alert for all that might happen. I would definitely be on the brewery of the liquid delights.

Old women with mobile phones look wrong.

Oh, I totally disagree. Old women chatting up a storm has been going on for eons hasn't it? It's totally not unusual to see an old lady gossip. That's like the natural state of their being.

Cell phones have been like a savior. Back in the day when I was a kid, the common wisdom was if you have a teenaged daughter and you put a telephone extension in her room, you would NEVER be able to use your home phone again. She'd be all over that 24/7 yakking away with the boyfriend, with the BFF, just anybody anytime jabber jabber jabber.

Now you don't give the kid an extension, you give her a cell phone and hope the batteries don't last long enough for the rugrat to smoke through the airtime and rack up extra charges.

There's really not that much difference between an old girl and a young girl except for maybe the effects of gravity so if you give an old girl a cell phone, you're solving the same problems as you are giving a teenager a cell phone. If you don't do it, you'll never have an open telephone line to use.

Tech toys a turnoff at school

Rachael Quattrini
The Arizona Republic
Aug. 8, 2007 12:00 AM
While young hands clamor forcellphones or iPods, schools say the tech toys cause classroom distractions and digital cheating.

Many Valley schools ban these devices from their campuses. Punishments for students caught breaking the rules range from detentions to having the devices confiscated.

Students at Mountain Pointe High School in Phoenix have been feeling disconnected since the first day of class Monday.

This year, the school has banned electronic devices such as MP3 players and cameras.

Students can still have cellphones on campus, but the devices must be shut off and out of sight during school hours, including lunch and between classes.

Anthony Kaehler, a senior, was skeptical that the ban would be effective.

"It's not going to work," Kaehler said. "Students will still figure out a way to bring them and use them at school."

School officials say the ban is to keep students focused on academics and to cut down on cheating.

I didn't have any such toys in school and the few things we did have weren't allowed. Transistor radios in the classroom?? NOT!! We weren't even allowed to use calculators until after we'd advanced to Trigonometry. If you were in Geometry or lower, NIX on the calculators. You do that math longhand.

The only gadget that students were really allowed to have were wristwatches but pity be unto the fool who has an alarm go off in the class. The teacher will suggest you set your next alarm for DETENTION.

What's the deal with the SCHOOL having to fight cheaters in class? That's the parents job! If my Dad caught wind of me cheating in school there wouldn't be enough left of me for the teacher to have to worry about anymore. I'd probably STILL be grounded and I'm 43 years old if my Dad caught wind of me cheating in no school!

Heck, when I was in the US Navy that was one of the questions they ask you on the Polygraph for the Top Secret Clearance is did you cheat in School. I'm like HELL NO, my instincts for self-preservation are better than that! My Dad won't put up with cheating one bit and he taught me likewise.

Those polygraph guys hate it when you do that rant thing like going HELL NO because it makes their machine go nuts. I did the same thing when they asked me if I had sex with animals. I'm like WHAT THE HELL KIND OF QUESTION IS THAT???!!??? And then the machine goes all scribbly and makes funny noises and the polygraph guy is like "Could you please just calmly answer yes or no one time?" and I'm like "These are not calm questions y'all are asking me if I'm a cheater and a puppy molestor pal."

I passed but I think I burned out a couple of their gadgets.

These kids today ain't being raised right if they can't even carry a cell phone in their pockets without using them to cheat. That shouldn't even enter the mind of a kid with proper upbringing.

Look, it's already a given that men do not understand women. The only men who claim to understand women write books explaining women and sell a million copies and there's still no understanding women.

So, I can write off ever understanding women. I can understand computers, I can understand $60 Million 911 dispatch comm systems no problem but women are a mystery.

So I already can't understand women at all and that leaves kids and men. I'm not a parent, I wouldn't even attempt the task. I went and got myself spayed and neutered so that wouldn't be a job I'd ever have to do because I didn't much get kids even when I WAS a kid.

20.6% of the American population is under the age of 15 and I don't understand them.

52% of the American population is female and I don't understand them.

So, I'm already out of understanding human nature by 72.6% and I don't think I'm going to bust my chops working at the remaining 27.4% either.
