At least you've GOT a real football team! I'm stuck with the forsaken ARIZONA CARDINALS, a team that's made it to the playoffs ONE TIME IN 50 YEARS and when they did finally see the playoffs, they were promptly eliminated in the FIRST ROUND. The only playoff game that's ever happened in Arizona was SUPER BOWL XXX and the Cardinals weren't even involved in that one.

We can't even watch the home games because they never sell out the stadium unless the Cowboys are playing because every football fan in Phoenix with a lick of sense is a Cowboys fan. At least those guys can actually play football good enough that their head coach doesn't get fired every year.

I look at the Head Coach of the Cardinals sort of like the guest star on Star Trek. You know he's about to get whacked. The only difference is nobody is around to say "He's DEAD, Jim!"

A dispatcher with the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office has been arrested and accused of leaking a confidential operations plan to suspected members of a gambling syndicate linked to the Italian mob, just days before deputies executed a string of search warrants.

The leak of the document jeopardized officers' lives and the two-year Operation High Stakes investigation by allowing suspects crucial time to ditch evidence and flee, Sheriff Joe Arpaio said.

Christopher Strang, 26, was given the document, which detailed addresses to be raided and names of people targeted, as final logistical details were put in place in the days before the April 24 raids in Phoenix, Los Angeles and Las Vegas, Arpaio said.

With 43 counts of hindering an investigation, this is one dispatcher who won't be going home for a few years. What's really going to suck to be him is he's going to be incarcerated in Sheriff Joe's jail and there's a pretty good likelihood that the stay will be less than pleasant.

Grave cover. Person working 10p-6a has to have two days off. Person working 8a-4p has to have two days off and so forth. The dreded Grave cover shift covers the 10p-6a the two days, covers the 8-4 person's days off. and covers one of the 6a-2p persons days off.

Our shifts have 2 hour seperations. First person comes in at 6a, second comes in at 8a. Then someone comes in at 2p next person comes in at 4p. Then the grave person comes in at 10p. We are a small center . . . the grave dispater is all alone from either midnight or 1a to 6am.

Saying is the phone rings between 4 and 6 am it's a dead body. Someone has just woken up and ther other person in bed won't wake up

A bunch of people retired and you know they don't serve salad and fruits. HECK no!! Do you know what they serve when somebody retires? PIZZA AND CAKE! Every single time, it's PIZZA AND CAKE.

I think it's a secret corporate plot to take one last chance to kill off the retiree with one last big boost of fat and cholesterol so they don't have to actually pay the retirement for long. If the retiree ever keels over from a heart attack at one of those parties, the medics are going to take one look at the patient, one look at the table full of pizza and cake and sarcastically say "Oh, health food nuts are we??"

The taliban needs no explaining of course, but pass the parcel is a is a popular children's party game in which a parcel is passed from person to person around a circle.

In preparation for the game, a prize (or "gift") is wrapped in a large number of layers of wrapping paper. Usually, each layer is of a different design so they can be easily distinguished. Smaller prizes or mottos may be placed between some or all other layers of wrapping.

During the game, music is played as the parcel is passed around. Whoever is holding the parcel when the music is stopped removes one layer of wrapping and claims any prize found under that layer. Excess rain forces the fire ants out of the ground. When the ground is too saturated for them to find a home, they search for a new place to hang out..typically the nearest house. I've been fighting them for a week now..they show up EVERYwhere..spiders too..you'd think the spiders would take care of the ants..nope..we have "hunter" spiders here all over the place that live in the grass..well, again, it's too wet and saturated, so they seek shelter.

My kids are also used to playing outside everyday..being able to run, jump, scream, ect. to burn off that 4 yr old energy. They haven't been able to for over a week. They are bouncing off of the walls.

The sewage systems are taking in an overload of water, causing pipes to back up everywhere..our neighbors across the street had a nasty surprise in their backyard yesterday..not cool. The rain is also overloading the drinking water supply lines..causing the tap water to be brown..

The yard was a pain in the booty to mow yesterday..I had to stop every 30 ft and clean the wet grass away from the mower blade because it kept causing it to die..so instead of mulching my grass, it left appr. 45 piles of wet grass all over the yard..which I had to try and rake, in the rain...dry grass weighs nothing, wet grass weighs a ton..and it stains everything it touches.

I'm tired of rain.
