Here's my evidence to the contrary.

You go through any checkout stand in any grocery store and you've got the women's advice magazines. Redbook. Women's Day. Cosmopolitan. They're all full of fashion tips, relationship tips and health tips, stuff to teach a woman how to be a woman according to the latest color glossy print magazine.

You don't see that in men's magazines. Men don't need tips. Mostly they need scantily clad women posing provocatively and men have all the advice they want just looking at that.

What do you think the women's magazine to men's magazine ratio is in the average grocery store checkout aisle? 5 to 1? 10 to 1? Granted, we're cheating a bit here because if porno were allowed there'd be more magazines men might be interested in but that fact only speaks to the simplicity of understanding men vs. the complexity of understanding women.

Women buy more advice from editorialists because they crave it. They don't understand themselves. They're looking for somebody else to do the job, sort of like liberals but without the whole taxation thing, they pay cover price instead.

If you understand women, then I've got one bit of advice for you: Go into the magazine biz. People who don't know what the heck they're talking about make careers in the field and you'd clean their clocks.

I don't think it's possible, because women have different modes.

Post-Partum if they gave birth, PMS if they're not gonna, post-menopausal when their hormones stop pumping like a charter member of OPEC, so if you actually do manage to understand a woman, she's not going to be in the same mode all the time.

When I was taught gun safety, I was taught that you always, ALWAYS, treat a gun like it's locked and loaded and could take your head clean off if you ever carelessly rely on a prior state of safety.

Women and guns are dangerous things and you don't risk making assumptions of safety either way if you want to have a future past today.

She's pretty in a third-hand way kind of pretty, like I can see how a shallower guy can see something in that hollow husk of a woman, but I don't find her attractive.

I've been married before and the thing is, you have to talk to the girl eventually. There's only so long you can spend in bed before you have to strike up a conversation with your partner. Women spend a lot more time talking than they do sleeping so if they're stupid, you're going to be spending a lot more time with stupid than you ever will spend in bed.

Actually, so are mine. It's illegal for a bar to be open at 3 AM in the State of Arizona. No alcohol is allowed to be served from 2 AM to 6 AM (10 AM on Sundays).

You can't have masses unless you're Catholic. Rick told me what his religion was once but I couldn't spell it to write it down.

There should be some rule on religions that they have to be easy to spell. Catholic is okay, and Mormon is even easier unless they go with that whole "Church of Latter Day Saints" thing but when you start getting like the Protestants and you're using over ten letters for the name of your religion then you're going to turn the Rednecks off right there.

Ok...I have to share what I learned today...sometimes, depending upon circumstances, an infant's arm or leg veins can be too collapsed to stick a needle in, sooo, nurses will use a vein in the baby's head....and to keep the baby (ok, so maybe not like an infant but probably a six month old or so) from grabbing the needle and pulling it out, they put little cups over the needle, like a little hat....

Ok...I have to share what I learned today...sometimes, depending upon circumstances, an infant's arm or leg veins can be too collapsed to stick a needle in, sooo, nurses will use a vein in the baby's head....and to keep the baby (ok, so maybe not like an infant but probably a six month old or so) from grabbing the needle and pulling it out, they put little cups over the needle, like a little hat....
