I was married to a crazed liberal. Let me give you an example of the Hell I went through married to an honest-to-goodness turned-vegetarian Sierra-club-brainwashed ex-Wife.

I came home from a day working, and my newly-vegetarian soon-to-be-Ex greeted me with a home-made Lasagna Dinner.

By this time, I'd had enough vegetarian cooking that I had Pizza Hut on Speed Dial #1, and their driver was inquiring about the possibility of frequent flier miles for the trips to my house. So, naturally, the moment I realized I was about to face vegetarian lasagna, I filled my fist with cordless phone and was about to order yet another life-saving Meat-Lovers Medium with a side of Chicken Wings when she said "You Can't Tell The Difference".

I was non-plussed and informed my vegetarian chef of the fact that lasagna was the closest Italians ever got to inventing meatloaf so the dish absolutely and completely requires an ingredient of MEAT!

She said she'd found the solution in TOFU. Now remember, I was only 26 years old at the time and had never heard of Tofu, never tasted it (as if you could), and since the meal was a done deal that I'd already paid for, I decided I'd try a plate.

I ate Tofu Lasagna. Words can barely describe the horror of gelled bean curd pretending to be meat. I like Jello, don't get me wrong but there's a reason why there's no market for tomato-flavored jello. :silenced:

Calling the Poison Control Center, I was assured that Tofu was not toxic and that my severe reaction was just due to the fact that it sucks.

I see cows in Arizona. I actually see the source of meat here. They don't even have cows in the ZOO at NYC so where's the meat (so-called) come from?
