Today's word of the day is Lagniappe...I bet Ricky's heard of that word.
I can't believe how many people don't know that word.
Everyone must use the word at least one time today in a post...:)

Being a big fan of the old Justin Wilson cooking shows, I have heard that word several times.

The one with the happy thoughts, pixie dust and wand.

Cajun gal caboose often has a little bit of lagniappe...

New Orleans is the only place I've ever heard that term. It's also the only place I've ever heard of sandwiches being fully dressed.

LOL...that was creative...and I've got LOTS of lagniappe in my caboose!

OK, I have been researching the First Holy Electronic Church of Monty Python. John Cleese is a member of the Monty Python troupe and a study of his holy work could be called cleesiology.

Therefore, a virtual church of Monty Python and the Holy Grail could be called E-Cleesiogy which over time could be known as Ecclesiology.

It's the imbalance of vowels to consonants.

"Louisiana" has six vowels and three consonants, a 2:1 ratio. This imbalance results in a low ecclesiology factor which they try to overcome via mass daiquiri production, but because the word "daiquiri" has 5 vowels and three consonants, there's not much improvement to be had.

My desk at work does have an autographed picture from Dubya and Laura Bush on it, which is sort of a warning shot across the bow for any would-be liberal coming to try and talk politics, plus it looks so very cool having an autographed pic of the President on the desk.

Everybody else has pics of their kids on their desks. I don't have kids, so it's either W. Bush or Ryu. At least I didn't go for the videogame character.

A blonde decides to try horseback riding, even though she has had no lessons or prior experience. She mounts the horse unassisted and the horse immediately springs into motion. It gallops along at a steady and rhythmic pace, but the blonde begins to slip from the saddle.
In terror, she grabs for the horse's mane, but cannot seem to get a firm grip. She tries to throw her arms around the horse's neck, but she slides down the side of the horse anyway.
The horse gallops along, seemingly impervious to its slipping rider. Finally, giving up her frail grip, she leaps away from the horse to try and throw herself to safety.
Unfortunately, her foot has become tangled in the stirrup and she is now at the mercy of the horse's pounding hooves as her head is struck against the ground again and again. As her head is battered against the ground, she is mere moments away from unconsciousness when.................

Gene...what are you doing looking for man boobs?

I can't help it! I'm a man.

Men look for three things to see if they should go into lust mode.

Hair, boobs and buns.

Top, middle, bottom.

It used to be that you could see long hair and that was good enough. Long hair meant girl so that's good for lust mode. See it, want it, and it's all good but now you can't do that. Cripes, Don Imus has long hair and he's butt-ugly even by man standards.

So, since the hair isn't dependable anymore the next available verification that a man is looking at a girl is the boob level. Men aren't supposed to have boobs. Some do, however, especially over 50 so you might get caught in a double whammy looking at a guy over 50 with long hair wondering if you should be attracted to that.

Short answer is no. Man Law says do not be attracted to long-haired guys over 50 with man-boobs.

That leaves the bottom. Fortunately not even men with long hair over 50 complete with man-boobs can get the female bottom looking right, so it's a good indicator. They can't see you looking either, not from behind so it's the last best defense for knowing whom to lust after casually. Just don't let anybody you know see you checking out caboose and getting it wrong and it's all good.

That's because you don't get Man Law. You are y-chromosomally impaired and don't understand how embarrassing it is to be attracted to an effeminate-looking male.

Cripes, Liberace looked like a hot guy to my mom and I almost agreed with her! I thought he looked good too!!

I've lived with inside shame ever since. I thought Liberace was a hot number. I violated Man Law and didn't verify top, middle and bottom before lusting.
