Getting ready for my son's 14th birthday party. We are going to treat everyone to lasertag this evening. I have to go pick up the cake, buy ice cream and get cash for the kids to play video games in between times.

Not to mention, getting his haircut ('cause I am one of those picky mom's that care about appearance), making sure my daughter washes her hair, conditions, and blow dries it (you would be amazed at how tough that is), straightening the house, making sure they have stuff to wear that is both neat (no rips, tears, stains, or holes...another thing you would be surprised that it is so tough to do with a pre teen and a teen :rolleyes:). Getting film for the camera...

I know there are a few more things I am forgetting, it will come to me in a bit...

I pity you..Nah, nothing to pity. It will be fun. My son rarely has birthday parties with a bunch of his friends. In the summer he invites one friend to a 'big' thing usually (Six Flags, Busch Gardens, King's Dominion) and the whole thing is our treat for the day. Then we have a small family party at home. This year he wanted a big party, so we booked a room at the lasertag adventure place (more appropriate for young teens).
