I could Eat Taco Bell at Lunch every single Damned Day of the Week.

I can Eat it anytime it's Offered, unless I am Full from already Eating...

But even then, I'd Probably not Pass down a Hardshell Taco Supreme.

I have been Eating that Crap since the Early 80's, but moreso in Junior High and High School in the Mid to Late 80's.

There were Frydays where we would Eat it for Lunch, then go after School, and then end up there Post House Party @ 1 in the AM...

Well, if you had to exist on the cheepest food available in America, I don't believe there is a cheeper way to go than Taco Bell. You can't even cook cheeper food at home. I'm sure that is why Taco Bell won the fast food wars. Nobody could compete.

First of all, I know for a fact that Taco Bell does NOT serve poison. I have worked at more than one Taco Bell over the years...(I know, that only goes to show that I don't have sound judgement, right?)
Anyway...my very first job was as a cashier/food prep/counter person at Taco Bell...that was about 24 years ago. Back then, Taco Bell still cooked their own beans on-site, then mashed them up with a sort of drill looking thing. In fact, back then, most everything was cooked fresh on-site, and the veggies were chopped daily. Now, stuff like beans and meat comes in plastic bags which are frozen, and when needed, are laid in a pan of hot water until they are the right temp. They are already fully cooked, of course. All of the veggies and cheese come in bags now. The only thing prepped on-site anymore is the rice. But I have to say this...Taco Bell...at least the 2 that I have worked for...does have pretty strict standards for the food, cleanliness, etc. I never saw anything at either restaurant that would turn me off to Taco Bell. I have been a waitress for 20 years, and I can't say that about any other place I've worked!

By the way, that rat thing was proven to be a hoax. That scam was attempted by a couple of women...and was exposed to be a fake.

Anyway...kinda surprising that a subject such as this one drew such opinionated responses!

I eat Taco Bell when I go to donate blood and have been deferred due to low iron. It always increases my iron levels to a point where they won't defer me. I eat a few tacos , wait a half hour to an hour before going to the donation center. It usually works, but this time it only raised the level from 33 points (three days ago) to 37 points. It has to read one point higher to give.


So, it looks like I'll be having Taco Bell again sometime soon And donating blood ....... barring any clogged arteries !

Long Live Taco Bell .... helping people help people three times over cause one pint of blood helps to save three lives !

I had that damn crunchy cheesy thing they've been advertising. It was OK, but it needed sour cream....I should've had sour cream!!! Then it would have been wonderful!

I ordered one of those to go (along with two tacos) the other day when I was trying to donate, but when I drove off and sat down to eat, it was a damn Chulupas and not one of those crunchy things (is it the Gordita ?) .... man was I disappointed ! I wanted the crunch ! :evil:
