I think it's bad enough here in the TC when the sky is still light until 10pm. I don't know how I'd handle your "White Nights" as I heard referenced in the movie "Insomnia". Great flic BTW.

Only neurotic cops with guilty consciences get insomnia up here... the rest of us use heavy curtains on the bedroom windows. ;)

Naw... I let my kid sister have the trailer. She is expecting her fourth and her boyfriend is getting out of jail soon so she needs more room. I moved into the camper on the back of my mom's old '64 Chevy pick-up out back. Of course it don't run since she was hit by the train on her way back to the Cosco parking lot from the dog fights, but with those fancy shades on the windows it is dark and cozy as a bear cave. ;)

You use the wrong metrics. It wasn't jus sanguinis or jus soli that drove him to the brink.

It was disagreeing about the hidden hand reaching out to snatch our sovereignty that had him pulling his hair out.

Sadly, I think you are quite correct.

I thin Rep. Paul was unprepared for being the Belle of the Ball at the Disenfranchised Voter Dance. His grassroots, sensing his reluctance to take the reins of his campaign, made it more about them than his message.

Which means his historic message is more likely to be associated with blimps, spammed polls and xenophobia...

go to the Arabs, and neither will help the American economy.

The way I see it, we need to keep that money here in America, so the only way I can see to keep that money here at home is drink beer or spend it on prostitution, those are the only businesses still in the U.S.

BTW, did you know that Mike Gravel is still in the running? At least he still has not dropped out. Were you in Alaska when he was a Senator?

Gravel is a hoot... I sure got a kick when in one of the early Democrat debates the moderator asked if any of the candidates owned a gun. Gravel alone, enthusiastically raised his hand... and the rest of the candidates took a half step back as though they assumed Gravel was going to take it out and start shooting. :D
