It's a good show, but how many times does he have to save the world and everyone is still against him?

I'm a tad bit concerned that it's going to go PC on the whole environmental thing. I was concerned that it had maybe jumped the shark last season. We'll see. Sutherland did look great in the trailer though I have to admit.

I have to agree that bsaed upon the last season of 24 it has quite possibly jumped the shark.
I love 24 but found myself bored and shaking my head at the stupid turn of events.
Anyone else get a bit tired of convenient plot devices such as access to every schematic of every building in LA or the fact that LA seems to have a satellite static directly above LA.

As long as we keep watching, plus a season or two.

You know, taking down the computer networks to crash the country sounds a lot like the "Live Free or Die Hard" plot.

And a key plot of this upcoming season is political fiction: What if Hillary Clinton was President?

Not even Jack Bauer could save us then.

Hey, the man's only got one day to save the world, while trying to escape everyone.

Plus getting captured and escaping about 3 times.

Rock on!
I'm hooked.
Watch Tony end up really being a good guy doing something that Jack and DHS are unaware of...

Looks better than last year, although that's not saying much.
Could they rip off Die Hard 4 any more?

It's good, mindless fun.
I knew Tony wasn't dead though.

Fox is developing a two-hour 24 prequel for the fall to help bridge the two-year gap between the sixth and seventh seasons of the series. The show, which did not air at all this season because of the writers' strike, will return for a seventh cycle in January 2009. Eight episodes were in the can before the strike began, but Fox decided against airing a partial season and breaking up the flow of the real-time drama, opting instead to hold the eight episodes and give the show its usual January launch, with the prequel telepic set for fall to whet fans' appetites. Filming on the remaining episodes of the seventh season, which features the show's first female president, played by Cherry Jones, will begin in April. Fox has not commented on the telefilm or its plot, but the Reporter states that the show has begun securing cast members for its production.
