The new season premieres on Sunday Nov. 4 at 8:00. It was supposed to air sometime in January or February but was moved up due the cancellation of Viva Laughlin.

I can't wait for the new season.

Sunday night was the season premiere of the 12th season of The Amazing Race (delayed because of the Pats/Colts game), and it was great.

The competition began outside of the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles (unfortunately the teams didn't get to be inside of the mansion). They have to get to the airport in order to buy tickets to go to Ireland. Some of the teams, however, had problems with the directions to the airport and have to take the second plane. But, they got to Ireland first because the other team on an earlier flight were delayed in London. As they got out of the airport, Ari & Staella (Best Friends) took a cab that was supposed to be for another team (either Azaria & Hendekea or Ronald & Christina). Once again, some of the teams had problems with directions, this time to a small church. The first challenge was to ride a bicycle on a cable wire a couple of feet above water while the partner is under the bike for a ride. I have to tell you that this ride look pretty scary yet awesome.

After the bike ride, the teams have to find a donkey and fill the two side patches to get the next clue. While some of the donkeys were easy to control, the others weren't to cooperative with some teams. The dating couple of Jennifer & Nathan as well as Ari & Staella were having some problems with their donkeys while some of the other teams walked right pass them. I was laughing when the grandfather/grandson team of Nicolas & Donald and the father/daughter team of Ronald & Christina went ahead of the two teams. Maybe these teams need some sort of donkey whisperer to help communicate to them rather than pulling and yelling at them. Donkeys have feelings too, you know. :) These events were good news for the L.A. blonde tandem of Shana & Jennifer as they were the last couple to enter the bike-riding challenge.

In the end, the best friends team of Ari & Staella were the first team to be eliminated. I guess karma was a bitch. They stole a cab but, yet, they were eliminated because of a stubborn donkey.

This is going to be a great season. This one will featured no non-elimination leg. You need to see it so it won't be the last season.

My favorite teams so far are the Nicolas & Donald (grandfather/grandson), Ronald & Christina (father/daughter), Shana & Jennifer (L.A. blondes), Azaria & Hendekea (brother/sister), Rachel & TK (dating) and Kynt & Vyxsin (goth couple).

In the couples in need of therapy department, the early contender is Jennifer & Nathan. Even the donkey doesn't like Nathan. Lorena & Jason aren't far behind.

It was another entertaining episode of The Amazing Race Sunday night.

Still in Ireland, the teams traveled to an airport in order to get tickets to fly to Amsterdam. On the way, the L.A. blondes tandem of Shana and Jennifer talked about the perils of doing the competition without their facials and manicures. :) . Also, the grandfather/grandson duo of Nicolas and Donald hit a snag when they had a flat tire which caused them to be late arriving at the airport. Meanwhile, father/daughter Ronald and Christina and the married priests of Kate and Pat tried to buy the tickets at a travel agency but couldn't.

The six teams of siblings Azaria & Hendekea, dating couples TK & Rachel, Lorena & Jason, and Kynt & Vyxsin, and friends Shana & Jennifer were booked on the earlier flight with a connecting flight while Nicolas and Donald, Ronald and Christina, Pat and Kate, and the sisters Marianna & Julia still waiting at the airport. While waiting for stand-by tickets, Ronald had a few words to Nicolas about the way he treated the ticket counter woman and overheard her calling him rude. Despite that, Nicolas and Donald get the stand-by tickets and were on their way to Amsterdam while Ronald and Christina, Pat and Kate, and Marianna & Julia had to take a later flight.

At Amsterdam, the teams had a Detour Challenge of either lifting objects to an apartment using a rope or finding bicycles with the matching color schemes. The dating team TK & Rachel took some considerable time with the lifting challenge until they decided to switch positions, but they finished before the other teams showed up. Meanwhile, while searching for the bikes, Ronald was annoyed by Christina's constant talking about positive energies and optimism. He began to mouthed out about the real world which touched her last nerves. Hey, would you?

In the Road Block challenge, one member of each team have to perform a popular sport in Amsterdam called ditch vaulting, in which a person have to vault across a muddy ditch. Why isn't this an Olympic sport!?! :) I was amused when some of the contestants fell into the ditch and looking all muddy and dirty, especially grandpa Donald who have to take off his clothes (relax, he kept his underwear on) to lessen the weight of the mud. :) I was also laughing with Ronald tried to teach his daughter on how to ditch vault. :) In the end, Ronald admits that it would be hard for him to change and called himself the Archie Bunker of the competition.

On their way to The Pit Stop, Jennifer from the dating team Nathan and Jennifer spit on the road while riding in a cart bike. That's disgusting. No wonder some people called us Ugly Americans.

In the end, the married priests of Kate and Pat were the last time to arrive and were eliminated.

Another great episode of The Amazing Race Sunday night.

The teams have to catch a flight on Air France to an African city of Ouagadougou in the African country of Burkino Faso. The dating couple of Nathan and Jennifer was the first and only team to take the early flight to Paris for a connecting flight while the rest of the competition have to take the second flight. However, the flight was delayed due to mechanical problems, and they teams have to race to get to the connecting flight or have to wait another day. It was especially difficult for Ronald because he was suffering from a hernia. That must have been painful. Despite the late start, the remaining teams arrived for the flight.

The teams then have to catch a train for the next stop in the city of Bingo. Since the train won't arrive until early in the morning, the teams relaxed and had a great time, especially Donald the grandfather who was dancing with the sisters of Marianna & Julia. I'm guessing those two women were have a little crush on old Don. :) Why that sexy man!!!! ;)

After arriving at Bingo, the teams have to, as a Road Block Challenge, milk a camel to a bowl to reach the set limit and have to drink it. YUCK!!!!! While some teams have little problems with the camels, others had to deal with the camels kicking at them and spilling the milk and worrying about the milk running dry. This was especially challenging for Marianna & Julia, Azaria & Hendekea, Shana & Jennifer, and Lorena & Jason. Lorena basically cried while struggling with the camel. After finishing with the camel's milk, the teams have to drive four camels to the person to get the next clue. Fortunately for Nathan and Jennifer, it wasn't the same problem with the camels as they had with the donkeys in the first episode. I was amused when the camel grunted when Ronald was singing. I guess the camel didn't liked his singing. :)

For the Road Block Challenge, the teams had to do either teaching the African children the English terms of ten pictures or learning the Möre, the primary language in the region, of the same ten items. Personally, I would have taken the learn it challenge, even though I have a pretty bad memory, because I would be too impatient teaching kids anyway. Adding to the drama, on the way to the Pit Stop, the teams have to endure a rain storm.

In the end, the brother/sister combo of Azaria & Hendekea finished in first place while the sister team of Marianna & Julia finished last and were eliminated.

It was another great episode of The Amazing Race, although it was delayed for almost an hour due to football.

The teams have to travel to get and bag a chicken as a sign of courtesy for the people of Burkino Faso. Can you imagine traveling with a live chicken with the becks and all of the pecking? OUCH!!!!!

When they arrived to their next location, they had a Detour where they can either dance to impress the judges or pan for an ounce of gold. On the dance challenge, the teams have to impress the judges or suffer an 10 minute penalty. What is this, The Amazing Race or Dancing With the Stars? :) The boyfriend/girlfriend team of Nathan and Jennifer decided to take the dance challenge because Jennifer used to dance for the L.A. Clippers (YES!!!!), however they failed to impress the judges and have to endure the ten-minute penalty. That must have been embarrassing for former Clippers dancer Jennifer. :) I really liked the dances by the goth team of Kynt & Vyxsin and the father/daughter team of Ronald and Christina, where they rubbed their booties against each other. :) They won the judges' praises as well as Jennifer and Shana. The blondes, then, decided to use an U-Turn on the last place team of Lorena & Jason because they feared that they might catch up with them. An U-Turn means that the team must perform the other half of the Detour they didn't perform. That means that Lorena & Jason, who did the dancing challenge where Lorena danced very well, must pan for an ounce of gold. No doubt that the blondes decided to use the U-Turn would ruffle some feathers with the other teams.

In the Road Block challenge, the teams must carry 10 or 11 items while riding on a bicycle, including a live goat. Can you imagine carrying a live goat? Some teams have little problem with the task while others had problems with directions and falling of the bike.

In the end, thanks to the U-Turn by the blondes, Lorena and Jason with the latest team to be eliminated. On the bright side, after viewing the situation in Africa, Lorena believed that she doesn't have to get married right away. That must have been good news for Jason. :)

Also, Jennifer (of Jennifer/Nathan team) was whining about Azaria & Hendekea coming in first again and that they should let the other team (mainly them) win. MEMO TO JENNIFER: This is a race!!!!! There are no free gifts for first place.

It was another good episode of The Amazing Race.

The teams have to catch a flight to Vilnius, Lithuania for the next leg of the race. Most teams with online to see any info on what's the quickest flight there. The father/daughter duo of Ronald and Christina with to a ticket office to buy tickets, and they had yet another disagreement as Ron continued to criticized his daughter's decision-making.

Meanwhile, the grandson/grandfather team of Nick and Don went to the travel agent at the airport, but they forgot to ask if she can speak any English first. That resulted in the team missing the earlier flight. The blonde team of Shana and Jennifer asked the agent to have the seats nearest to the door and wanted the other teams to stay away from them. No doubt that the other teams weren't too pleased about this. However, Shana and Jennifer continued to disagree with each other over the use of the U-Turn on Lorena and Jason on the previous leg.

At Lithuania, some of the teams had some problems with the directions. Shana and Jennifer were so distracted with figuring out how to get to a certain location that they were nearly hit by a bus. That was scary!!!!

The Road Block Challenge was to deliver a package to an university and deliver another gift to a different location. Nick from Nick and Don was having problems finding the hair salon for the second drop-off and, as a result, the duo were in the bottom two.

The next challenge was finding the Travelocity gnome in a yard filled with those cute gnomes. Then, the teams had a Detour challenge where they could count the pickets of a fence or walk on stilts on a course to the finish line. The goth couple of Kynt and Vyxsin struggled while on the stilts and decided to do the counting. The father/daughter team of Ron and Christina also did the stilts, and a scary moment occurred when Ron fell down. But, he looked okay, and the team finished the challenge.

The dating couple of Jennifer and Nathan continued to have their bickering during the race. They argued while doing the Road Block Challenge and went at each other while counting the pickets. During the counting, Jennifer interrupted Nathan. As a result, he called her the "B" word that set Jennifer off. They decided to walk the stilts instead. This couple is in serious need of Dr. Phil soon. :) I can't see how this couple could win the competition. I think they'll the next team eliminated from the race. I can slowly understand why Nathan cheated on her.

In the end, the blonde team of Shana and Jennifer were the last team to arrive and, thus, eliminated. On the bright side, they can once again enjoy the facials and manicures back home. :) And, despite their disagreements, they remain good friends.

It was another entertaining episode of The Amazing Race.

The teams had to get to the airport to purchase tickets to fly to Dubrovnik, Croatia and travel to the base of the Fort of St. Lawrence. The brother/sister team of Azaria & Hendekea, while standing in line, decided to go to another ticket at the airport to book an earlier flight. However, they disagreed on which office to go. When they did got the ticket to fly to Dubrovnik through Prague, they realized that they had tickets for business class instead for general class, which is illegal in the show. When they came back with the right tickets, they have to wait for another flight that stops at Frankfurt but realize that the flight that TK/Rachel and Nick/Don was delayed.

At Croatia, the teams had a Detour Challenge where one of them had to place the right stone that fits a space on the wall. Then, they took a zip line across the river to the roof of Fort Borkar. How awesome was THAT!!!!!! After reaching Fort Borker, the Road Block challenge is for teams to scale down to the foot of the base and climb a ladder to the top and search for the next clue in town or go to the zip line, swim, and paddle a boat to the same plaza for the next clue. America's sweethearts Nathan/Jennifer took the boat part, and they had one of their usual arguments, in which Jennifer said that she hates Nathan with a passion. But, they learned how to row the boat as a team. When they have to take a taxi ti get to the pit stop that was located on the top of the hill with a cross, the cab driver refuse to take them because they were wet (Is that discrimination against wet people? Where's Al Sharpton when you need him?). Jennifer was breaking down crying, and the team have to take an unauthorized vehicle to take them to the pit stop. When they arrived, they were the second team to arrive but have to return to the spot where they got the last clue because they broke the rules about not taking the cab. At the end, they came back and finished third. I wonder if the other teams who took the boat challenge had the same problems of cabbers not taking them because they were wet. Jennifer wonders if their relationship will last after the race because they do argue so much. My guess is that they already had broken up.

In the end, the brother and sister combo of Azaria & Hendekea were the last team to arrive and were eliminated, mainly because of what happened at the airport.

As the teams arrived, they were greeted by men firing gun shots. I'm glad the men were careful, or they could shot someone's eyes off. :)

It was another great episode of The Amazing Race Season 12.

The teams have to travel by bus to get to the boat traveling to Split, Croatia. Then, they have to travel to Italy to do the Roadblock where one of them have to fly on a flying vehicles to find a word that spells out the location of their next stop, which was DIVINCI. Prior to arriving to the Roadblock, TK and Rachel misplaced their clue while at the cafe asking for directions and have to travel back to get it. Also, the teams get a Blackberry message from family members. It was amusing to watch Donald (the grandfather) struggling to use the Blackberry device. :)

For the most part, the bickering couples of Nathan/Jennifer and Ronald/Christina were on their best behavior, with the exception with the way Ronald talked to Christina while trying to find the numbers for the searching challenge. TK was struggling with location the DIVINCI word. But, they were the second team to arrive because some of the teams were stuck in traffic. Meanwhile, Nicolas and Donald decided to take the Fast Forward when the have to go to the studios. What they didn't know was that they have to have a permanent tattoo with the initials FF (for Fast Forward) in order to bypass the other challenges. I would love to have a tattoo, except that I'm a little screamism of needles and don't know what to put on. Maybe a Jets logo. The team did have the tattoos and was the first team to arrive.

Meanwhile, the Detour challenge was to have teams to either build an invention to lift a stone or perform a traditional flag routine. Jennifer and Nathan did the flag routine and had problems connecting (like their relationship). Jennifer showed that she's competitive for a woman in her petite stature.

The goth couple of Kynt and Vyxsin had problems with driving the stick-shift of the car and were competing with TK and Rachel to avoid last place. They exchanged some words with each other due to the stress of the race.

The goths were the last team to arrive, but they were fortunate because it was one of only two non-elimination legs of the show. However, because they came in last, they have to perform a "speed bump" in their next leg that could cost them time. They don't know what they would do or when it would occur, but I hope that they won't be eliminated in the next leg. I like them.

I thought that this season will feature no non-elimination legs.

It was another good episode of The Amazing Race 12.

The teams have to fly to Mumbai, India. The goths of Kynt and Vyxsin, worrying about the upcoming "speed bump," tried to trick Rachel & TK into taking a later flight to India, and it worked. More good news for the goths as the three other teams who took an earlier flight were delayed at the tarmac.

After arriving at Mumbai, the teams had to take a rickshaw to a newspaper stand and search the newspaper to find the next clue as an ad. The dating couple of Nathan and Jennifer were the last team to find the clue, and Jennifer was upset about this. The Detour Challenge was for teams to either to piece and paste a Bollywood movie poster correctly or thread a lot of flowers into a wedding lei. Meanwhile, Kynt and Vyxsin's Speed Bump Challenge was to perform several Yoga poses. That sure look fun and relaxing. Despite the speed bump, they finished and were with Nathan and Jennifer at the flower lei task. Speaking of couples who are in need for some Yoga lessons, Nathan and Jennifer were again bickering with each other. My favorite moment was when Nathan wondered how she can't thread since she's a woman. She responded by saying that he can't row a boat and he's a man. CLASSIC!!!!! :) Meanwhile, the father and daughter tandem of Christina and Ronald had issues during the poster challenge when he want a stool and was upset that they have to work on the poster again. However, he realized that it was a good idea to let her take control, and they finished.

This was the last time this season that the Yield will be used. Kynt and Vysxin, battled with Nathan and Jennifer to avoid last place but unaware who else was behind them, decided to yield Nicolas and Donald, who are ahead of them. That decision would be costly for them. Why not yield Nathan and Jennifer since you knew they're behind them?

The Detour Challenge was for one member to deliver six propane tanks to two destination on bikes. I was watching Kynt trying to drive those bikes and hitting on some objects, and I was worried that those tanks might explode!!!! :)

Jennifer have to go back to one apartment because she forgot to get the receipt at the back of the door while Kynt have to go back to get the order slips back.

In the end, one of my favorite teams, the goth team of Kynt and Vyxsin, were eliminated. I'm so sad to see them go. :( If only they yielded Nathan and Jennifer.

It was another good episode of The Amazing Race 12, although most of it was anti-climatic.

The teams have to travel to Japan. TK and Rachel went to travel office to find the earlier flight while the other teams went to the airport. While they went on the 8:30 flight, TK and Rachel went on an earlier flight but have to stop by two cities on the way. As a result, they were the last team to arrive in Japan. I was laughing when Ronald was complaining about the cab driver when he took his team to the wrong end of the airport.

On a Road Block, one member of each team have to be a taxi driver and dropping off a couple to a post office on a five-minute drive in the confusing roads with one-way streets. Finally, maybe Jennifer can understand what it feel to be criticized by the backseat driver. :) While Christina had the advantage of speaking and reading Japanese over the others, she was not quite as good of a driver as the rest. Throughout the confusion of the roads, Jennifer was the first person to complete her task. On the Detour Challenge, the teams must either play soccer with robots controlled by cell phones or smelling to find a real flower among thousands of artificial flowers. I'm betting trying to smell the flowers can make you feel trippy like being in a Pink Floyd video. While Ronald/Christina and Jennifer/Nathan took the smell test, Nicolas/Donald took the robot challenge. While it may be an advantage for younger Nicolas, it was difficult for older Donald. I can tell you that your fingers could be numb while playing on the buttons of the cell phone. After the smell test, Nathan and Jennifer were having a tough time finding a cab driver who knows where the location of the Pit Stop is. In the process, Ronald and Christina quickly found a cab and became the first team to arrive while Nathan and Jennifer have to settle finishing second again. Once again, Nathan and Jennifer bickered when she claimed that he pushed her into the cab. Personally, I don't think he did. Plus, I thought, after smelling the flower, they would become more mellow. Also, I was amused when Nathan claimed that he doesn't understand when Jennifer was saying because he was too busy watching the cab driver. TK and Rachel, after arriving to Japan, still have to perform the tasks in night time and finished last. But, they were spared since it was a non-elimination leg. However, like Kynt and Vyxsin, they will have to perform a speed bump that could delay them either further since they're three hours behind the rest of the teams. I hope that it won't eliminated them in the next leg.

Another good episode of The Amazing Race 12.

Before the race begins, we found out it was Jennifer's birthday!!!!

The teams have to travel to a building with a hole in it (The Umeda Sky Building) and go to the Floating Garden Observatory to get the next clue. TK and Rachel had problems finding the observatory and the clue box.

Then, the teams have to get to the airport and book a flight to Taipei, Taiwan. Ron and Christina tried to be deceptive and tried to convince the counter person to tell Jennifer and Nathan that the flight was full. When they heard about this, Jennifer and Nathan were livid. She pleaded to the ticket agent to not listen to Christina. And, again, the loving couple bickered at each other when Nathan claimed Jennifer interrupted him. She must have been thinking to herself, "This isn't happening, IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!"

Ron and Christina were on the first flight while the remaining three teams were on the second flight. The teams, then, they have to take a fast rail and taxi to the Road Block. Nathan/Jennifer and Nicolas/Donald waited in the long line at the immigration to exchange money were they found out that TK and Rachal caught up with them. Jen again thinking to herself, "This can't be happening on my BIRTHDAY!!!!" I loved it when, describing the rest of the team, a ****ed-off Jennifer complained that the other teams were low key, mellow, and walking to finish the race while they were sweating and busting their asses. :)

The Road Block Challenge was for one member to, first, be a passenger in a car that was driven by a stunt person on a titer board and, then, in a car underwater while holding his/her breathe for 17 seconds. I have to say that those stunts looked wickedly awesome, although the titer board one looked quite scary. After they finished the Road Block, TK and Rachal have to perform a Speed Bump since they finished last in the non-elimination leg. They have to wear a protective suit to run through fireworks firing at them and have water throw at them. That looked amazing.

After they drank tea to find the next clue, the teams have to find a clown to get the next clue, which was a Detour Challenge. They would have to either light and fly 20 sky lanterns or walk on top of jagged stones to get the next clue. I have to say that the jagged rock walk definitely looked painful!!!! While all four teams did the jagged rocks walk, Jennifer and Nathan, as usual, had their usual disagreement. They decided to take the subway because they thought it would be quicker than a cab in traffic. Then, they disagree on whether to take a cab or the bus. Jen demanded that Nathan be a man and take charge while he called her a terrible teammate. Jen snipped, "Thanks a lot for ruining my frickin' birthday." That was PRICELESS!!!! :) After they finished the stunt, the teams have to go to the pit stop or be eliminated.

Ron and Christina finished first while Tk/Rachal and Nicolas/Donald were the next two teams to fininshed. That means that America's sweethearts Jennifer and Nathan were the last team to finished and were eliminated. I'm betting that Jennifer is thinking to herself, "This can't happened. IT'S MY FRICKIN' BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!" I think she blamed Nathan for ruining her birthday and the entire race. After the race, she not sure if their relationship will last. I don't know why couples in trouble think that a stressful race on national TV would help their relationship. I'm actually going to miss them. They may bicker and act rude, but they were entertaining to the end.

The finale is next week, and I'm hoping Nicolas and Donald will win.

It was a good season finale to The Amazing Race 12.

The three remaining teams are heading to Anchorage, Alaska for the final leg. At the airport, Ronald and Christina were the first team to arrive and sneak of to the airport lounge for Internet access. Meanwhile, the other teams arrived and wondered wear Ron and Christina are, where they didn't know that they were in the lounge. At the end, all three teams were on the same flight.

Upon arriving, the teams have to go to 6th Avenue Outfitters to get the next clue and bag of necessary items for the Detour. However, while in a rush, Nicolas and Donald forgot to get the bags and have to waste time going back to the store to get the bag. The Detour Challenge was to have the team to either cut through a cod fish to find a clue or grab a crab to find the one with the race colors tag. I have to say that the crab pick-up looked painful!!!!!

After they finished with the Detour, the teams have to travel to a port and travel via speedboat to get the next clue. What they don't know was that they would have to scale a 20-Mile Glacier. That looked scary!!!! I have to say that the scenery of Alaska looked beautiful!!!!

After the climb, the teams take a scenic flight of Alaska in a helicopter and travel by taxi to Goose Lake Park for their next clue for the final Road Block. The task is for one team member had to place on a stage ten specific items from the previous legs of the race that matched two different requirements. The rules were a little confusing for me to explain, but I'm betting that the contestants' head were about to exploded trying to remember the items.

After the Road Block was finished, the teams then have to travel to the statue of famed explorer Captain James Cook and search for the statue of the salmon hooker in downtown Anchorage. After getting the final clue, the teams have to take a taxi to Girdwood Airport and race to the finish line where the eliminated racers were there to meet.

In the end, the dating team of TK and Rachel were the winners of The Amazing Race 12 with Ron and Christina second and Nicolas and Donald came in third. I'm glad that TK and Rachel won. They played this race without sacrificing their relationship.

All three finalist groups were worthy, but I'm happy TK and Rachel won!
