"Save an Elk - Shoot a Land Developer"
^Was Following a Kerry Voter yesterday with that on her Carravan...
Interesting.
Some of you may ask, "Mal, how do you Know she was a Kerry Voter?"...
Good Point, the Kerry Sticker on her Van was my First Clue, but on Second Thought, she's a DemocRAT, and there is a Good Chance that she was too Lazy to Actually go Vote, while Aimlessly Bitching is much Easier.
So many things come to Mind when I see this Level of Hysterical Reaction to Life's Realities in the Form of Bumperstickers...
One would be, does she live in a Development herself?...
Most Likely.
Did she Breed and Create more Human Cancers who will Require Development?...
Most Likely.
If we were to add other People into the Equation of her Sticker, would "Free Speech" still Apply?...
Doubtfully.
This type of Mentallity is as Disturbing as it is Concerning.
And what's Most Entertaining, is that she was Probably Anti-Gun on top of all of that, but she had not Expressed that View on the back of her Fossil Fuel Burning Death Mobile. (Cars Kill a lot of People who need Developments to Live, Work and Play in, after all)
Anyone see Vile, Hatefull, Hysterical, Violence Inciting Propaganda like this on Cars where you Live?...
To be Consistent, there is a Blazer in my Complex that says "Hippie Killer" down either Side...
:)

I hunt only deer right now. I have been rabbit hunting, but prefer deer hunting and use my 12 guage Remington shotgun. I'm planning to go bow hunting, I've suddenly got an interest in that. I've got to buy a bow first though.

In some of those postage stamp sized states back east that’s all they allow. 12 gage with buckshot or slugs (or BP muzzle loaders or bow & arrow.)

Pave the Rainforest? Good one.
I think that most libs who use bumperstickers like those discussed here dont realize that most of ours are "tongue in cheek". My favorite was on the back of a car that cut me off in traffic. No signal and just moved right over in front of me by a couple of feet. The sticker? "Human Rights Activist on Board".

A few years back my father hit a "button buck" in his pick-up truck while driving home. The buck was killed instantly, the bucks head hit the grill breaking it's neck. it's body then swung around and put a nice dent in the passenger side door. So my dad (after surveying the damage) looked the deer over and took the dead dear home. He then gutted it and then sent it to the butcher. He and my mother had deer steaks and ground deer for that winter and he didnt' even half to go out hunting.

Unfortunately that's against the law here. If you run into and kill a moose or deer or caribou you cannot keep it; the animal is donated to charity. I guess some fool do-gooder must have thought people would deliberately road kill animals if they could keep them. Probably had never seen what happens when you hit a 1000 pound animal with your energy absorbing car. Nobody in their right mind would do that on purpose. Seems like taking home the meat would at least provide some compensation.

You're not hunting enough then! There are far too many deer in Delaware on Route 1 and also on Route 54. And you need to come down to Maryland along the Route 50 corridor and get the ones roaming the roads from Worcester to Talbot Counties.
Bring your friends--the more hunters down here, the better!

In some of those postage stamp sized states back east that’s all they allow. 12 gage with buckshot or slugs (or BP muzzle loaders or bow & arrow.)
We have rifle season in Connecticut. But then, we've also had a couple of herd reduction programs due to the waning interest in hunting in some parts of the state. Not where I live though, plenty of hunters in the northwest quadrant.
